I placed my order for my xlt hybrid on September 18th and got my email on the 19ths. I wanted to see if anyone has gotten an email yet for production or if that won't even be for a few more weeks.

Firedode348, No communication from Ford for me. I ordered a 2023 Oxford White XL with only 1 option: trailer hitch. On the same day as you and received the Ford email the next morning. It’s going to be exciting to receive that scheduling email. I seen someone post Ford usually sends updates every 45 days on your order. If we don’t hear anything till around that 45 day mark, it could be only an email saying we have not forgot you email and update you soon. If I get anything other than that, I will share here.

As a MY 22 order that got rolled over I wouldn’t advise holding your breath on a 45 day email.. maybe 120 days to get email telling you about constraints etc etc.

True. Don't mind me, just having a mental lapse.

I watched most of Tim's stream during lunch. Looks like hybrids will need to wait a bit but otherwise the constraints appear to be exactly as Ford said they would be. 8% would be Tremor and 7.99% of Tim's orders being looked at are Tremor.

As I mentioned elsewhere, it bodes well for the EB orders but I also caught that Ford basically put the Escape hybrid at 0%. If the parts are similar (I speak from ignorance) then there is a chance Ford could be reshuffling their parts to hopefully increase the number of Maverick hybrids they can build. Escapes are still easy to come by whereas Mavericks are built-to-order.

They can schedule only so many orders this week. I feel like everyone that ordered on 9/15 is expecting to get scheduled immediately. Most people are in for a long wait.

86,000 orders with a production capacity of 10,000-ish equals nine months for the orders placed within a five day period. Barring contraints.

Being charitable to their monthly production, only a few months they were able to do 10K. Realistically, we can expect around 7-8K produced per month.

So far from what I read it looks like they make from 7-10k trucks a month? And we should anticipate that hybrids waiting longer for them.

And when could we expect the "your truck has been scheduled email"? A month or so or 6+ plus months. I have never ordered a vehicle like this so I'm still learning as I go and read.

If you have a hybrid, it doesn't sound like you should expect an email soon as all the ones Ford was looking at for scheduling at one dealership (admittedly a small sample, but it is a large dealership) were all EcoBoost. Meaning that the first month's production of 7,000-10,000 could be predominately EB. Assuming a conservative 35% of preorders are EB, Ford would eat through the EB preorders in three to four months.

Do I think Ford is going to focus solely on EB first and then turn its attention to Hybrid? No, I don't. But if you have a Hybrid on order, the best you can do is be patient. It will likely be a while. Especially as long as Ford isn't even looking at them.
