September 2022 Order Status Thread

"Pre-ordered", which in my case means my family friend of more than 30 years dealer indicated I was second in line at the time. Ordered and confirmed 9/16. Received build date of 3/7 on 1/26. Hybrid Lariat Lux, 360, 360 assist, moonroof, sibl, floor coverings w/carpet, remote start, engine block heater, alto blue. I anticipate late April/early May (?) delivery. Good luck.

I ordered the same thing but in Hot Pepper Red... maybe that's the constraint. LOL... still waiting.

Just wanted to create a thread for those of us who placed an order during the September 2022 order opening.

after order, no other updates. Currently 5 months in with no VIN. See picture attached.

Curious to hear updates from those that ordered during the September 2022 process (not rolled over from the 22MY)

Congratulations to all you new my23 orders on getting your build dates! But it's extremely upsetting to see that when I've been waiting almost 16 mo. and the only thing I get is my dear John notice every 45 days!!!

Have you gotten any updates from Ford on your order?

No. Only the 45 day emails, and when I call customer support all they tell me it is a “clean unscheduled” order. I am priority 10.

September 20, 2022, order. XLT, Lux, 360, not much more. Three SOL emails. I called Ford yesterday. The nice guy told me (I think this was his terminology) that my truck was "in production" but waiting for something. He did not say, "clean unscheduled." Should I resurrect my battered optimism?

Still nothing after all these months. Checking with Ford Chat, it's still Unscheduled - Clean status.

Called Ford, my email is correct and my order was submitted and is unscheduled and clean, they gave me a coupon number for $750 off but it won't apply to me as I get D-plan.

That was my second color choice but my wife has a red Crosstrek and a few years ago we both had white vehicles so she was pretty forward with "any color but red"! I seriously thought about HPR with the BAP!! Good luck!

LOL. My wife has a blue Model Y and we didn't want mis-matched colors. My F-350 was Ruby Red Metalic Clearcoat. It had a beautiful pearl quality and I was a little hesitant on getting the much oranger red of the RHP Maverick but didn't like any of the other non-blue colors enough. (I was on the fence on the Black out)

Same boat here - Placed order for XL Hybrid w/trailer hitch and co-pilot 360 on Sept 17. I received 2 (So Sorry for the delay) emails from Ford and my dealer has contacted me three times but no vin. yet.
I watch Test Driven TV on You Tube and Sam addressed this exact issue. You may want to check it out as well as lots of other great Maverick content

Ordered on 9/20/22.

XL hybrid with tow hitch, floor mats, bed mat, and full size spare. Changed to Ecoboost in December. Dropped the tow hitch on 1/27/23. Have received order confirmation on 9/20/22, and 3, 45 day e-mails. Still not scheduled for production. I thought when I changed to Ecoboost, it would speed things up, but it looks like it will be at least another 3 months or more.

Alto Blue Lariat Hybrid: Ordered on 9/15/22, in the system on that date at 18:28 (not long after the systems were accepting orders). No word aside from the "Yay! Your order is in!" email and 2x 45 day emails.

Order accepted September 17, 2022 for a plain jane Area 51 hybrid with a tow hitch, so far 3 SOL emails. My salesman has not been very helpful, so far I haven't even been able to get him to delete the hitch. No problem, my 2013 F150 is in great shape so as long as I get my 2023 Maverick before, say, 2030, I should be fine.
