Just wanted to create a thread for those of us who placed an order during the September 2022 order opening.

after order, no other updates. Currently 5 months in with no VIN. See picture attached.

Curious to hear updates from those that ordered during the September 2022 process (not rolled over from the 22MY)

You do realize that you only have a 50% chance of your hybrid being produced.

I figured the wait would be long but no, I didn’t have that figure in mind. Something specific as to why you say that?

It's been discussed on here many times the number of hybrid orders Ford received and the number they expect to produce. It figures out to roughly twice as many orders taken than they expect to produce for MY2023.

Ordered September 15th and got my VIN mid January. Priority 19.

Scheduled for Production Early March but got pushed back to 3/13 then very next day.

Hoping I do not get pushed back any further, really want to get my hands on my Mav.

Gotcha. Yeah, I hadn’t seen those numbers. Thanks for the info. Let’s see how it goes. I’m considering a local F150 2.7 with excellent service history under $17k.

My order was similar 9/17 but I had a hitch. Had to drop it and add the lux package. You are in the higher likelihood group. But as others have said it is a 50/50 shot. Hopefully, they will cave to pressure and do rollovers to 2024 since they messed up the ordering so bad.

Placed my order on September 16, 2022. Priority Code 19.

Hybrid Lariat in Cactus Gray with every option available (exc accessories: mud flaps, tonneau cover, camper shell, etc).

Received VIN and build date (March 23) in January.

I gotta admit, after hearing and reading all the horror stories, the ordering process turned out to be smooth, quick and easy!

Great job, FMC...đź‘Źđź‘Źđź‘Ź

I went into the dealer in Jan 22 and was told "no Mavericks" to be had. I went in on 09/15/22 and was the first (at that dealer) to upload an order for a MY23 XL, EB, 4k, tow pkg at priority 15. When I learned there was less than a 50% chance of getting an XL, I went to an XLT, BAP (the rest the same). I've gotten three 45-day "so sorry" letters but am waiting for a "good news" letter soon... (I took donuts to the dealer as a bribe). If you stick with the hybrid you can expect a "Dear John" letter as Ford won't roll-over 23 orders to 24s like last year and you'll have to start over.

Yeah, it's why Ford is letting folks switch their orders to Ecoboosts if they haven't been scheduled yet.
