I am dealing with the often addressed “battery saver mode”, and have been trying to read up all of your suggestions as well as other sources. Various sources show ones that will work, but they are all different dimensions.
Some of the ones on these pages with links provided (like Amazon for instance) show that they “do not fit Maverick”. I feel like I’m getting too much info and it’s all contradicting.
obviously I could just go out and measure, but I’m not with vehicle.
Any advice that will help me decide which one I want?
Thanks

They will all say they won't for because it isn't the same type of battery that was included originally. The one below fits. I put mine in 5 months ago.

I've been following threads like this because I'm concerned about the issue and also want to know when Ford finally figures out a real fix and not just band aids. It hasn't been a persistent problem for me (once that I recall of it "going to sleep" - no interior lights but fired right up.) I deactivated the automatic over the air updates to keep it from waking up and searching for updates every 24 hours. Haven't had the issue since.

Best battery I ever had was an Optima brand one that I got for a 2004 F150 Heritage that would kill it's battery because I wasn't driving it often enough and seemed to have a slow drain. After the Optima I never had to worry about it.

Has anyone measured the battery compartment to see what the physically largest battery is that will fit with no modifications? Highest CCA, highest reserve time, etc...

Here is the size difference between an OEM H4 smaller battery and an H5 larger battery. The H5 will fit but it will require some light modifications.
You can find posts that relate to the modifications in the forum.

24 XLT here. We had a 23 that Ford never could fix. The 24 went to “sleep” abt 3 months into it. I called the local dealer, told them it would not start. They sent roadside out and the battery only had 6.4 volts. As soon as he turned the jumpstart on, the truck came alive and started right up. We took it straight to the dealer, told them abt the 23, told them we need a rental, which Ford paid for, and we did not want it back until it was fixed. At the 3 week mark, I called Ford Customer service and explained what was going on and if it could not be fixed, I want a new truck. Three days later I got a call stating the truck was ready. The paperwork showed they replaced TCM, BCM, battery and adjusted charge settings. No problem since then 1 1/2 yrs later.

In my younger years I've rebuilt several older Porsche 911 Engines, very hard to get to components 'cause they were made to be easy to work on, lots of body suspension work but I look at projects like battery replacement that are "frankly not a bit of fun if you don't have all the tools needed, and some projects that really need a lift to get to repairs...there are many times just not work my time...I'd fine I'd rather pass these crappy jobs on to a Ford Dealer Tech that has done such a job a dozen times, has the tools and experience that is just not worth my time. Many current model cars are very complicated to work on...

No detailed needed but I once broke a radio antenna off my LandRover and it was a good 6 hour job to replace....second time it was broken off I passed it on to a mechanic.

Great to have this community to help the average dude who isn’t a mechanic. Got an AGM from Battery World, and did everything all by myself!
Thanks to all.

Do your own research within the forum but this battery fit my ‘23 Hybrid Lariat and took care of my Deep Sleep Mode for now. I purchased directly through distributor and not Amazon.
so best

Perfect description - gives all 3 of the battery sizes that are the same. Usually used in the AGM models.

DIN H4 / Group 140R / LN1

All have the same dimensions, and the footprint is the same as the OEM T4. Drop in ready.
Tad taller.

Since the 25MY comes with the H4 size AGM - it obviously fits under the plastic battery cover.

Whatever it is worth - I turn off my head lights manually when I turn off the car. I don't know how much that saves but 37,000 miles and 2.5 years, I have had zero issues with my battery.

I have had the battery issue since I got my maverick. Went to my Ford dealer service manager. Said as no recall, nothing they can do. They will give me a $90 appointment and sell me the OEM 2022 battery for $250-300. Showed them the SSM to replace with AGM, they say they cannot as that is for 2024-2025. I am just going to order the AGM battery from Amazon and try it out.
