I’m not saying that you think it supposed to look like a horn so not aimed at you…..
The headlight absolutely was not designed to look like a horn. Come on. Someone just made that up in an attempt to rationalize the wonky front end. And now a lot of people are saying that to help wrap their brain around such a stuuupid front end.
Don’t get mad at me! I have a 25’ so I get to gaslight myself too.
Okay, it’s a bull horn lol.
a "maverick" is often associated with cowboys because the term originally referred to unbranded cattle from Texas rancher Samuel Maverick,..”I’m not saying that you think it supposed to look like a horn so not aimed at you…..

Oh come on…you know that Chevy would get first place “ugly” and the Ford would get ugly runner up in the event that first place could not fulfill its duties. Not much difference between these 2 to me.

Explain the 77 Ford Maverick Stallion. It had a horse decal on the front fender.a "maverick" is often associated with cowboys because the term originally referred to unbranded cattle from Texas rancher Samuel Maverick,..”
I like that Mav! (Sans Decal)!Explain the 77 Ford Maverick Stallion. It had a horse decal on the front fender.

Every time I see a picture like this, I just have to laugh... that center facia design is utterly stupid, like something that blew up off the road, and stuck to front end. The light design is fine, the grille is fine... it's just that center section. The fact it's raised from the other facia surface does not help, either. A real head-scratching design.... classic case of trying too hard....
The term Maverick is not exclusive to only cattle. It can be used for any wild unbranded animal. Being that the Maverick car was based on the first generation Mustang chassis, it seems fitting that Ford used the Horse on a Maverick. After all it was the "Stallion" package.Explain the 77 Ford Maverick Stallion. It had a horse decal on the front fender.

The consensus is that they were going after a longhorn curved horn look with the headlightsNice! I still don't know what the @#$% Ford was thinking on that facia design....![]()
That's a bone-stock Lobo. Can be yours for $38,000.Yeah this pic shows a really nice lower valance that balances it out better. No idea how, why, or where it came from, but i would buy it !

Ski slopes? I thought those were eye patches or bags under the eyes. I reall like the front on my 24. I think the wrap looks good.I had a chili pepper red 24 Maverick, which I loved. But the infamous dash rattle had me turn it back over to Ford after 30,000 miles.
I just received my 26 XLT in space white and really didn’t like the new front end.
I had the ski slopes by the headlights wrapped in satin black and I think, while not perfect, it’s better in appearance.
