I hear you on the dash rattle frustration. Mine started rattling around 800 miles in. Oddly, the rattle are less now that cold weather has arrived, the opposite of past experience with such things.

I‘ve never purchased a new vehicle (or used, now that I think about it) with a dash this janky, and I‘ve owned a lot of vehicles. Maddening. I did have a ‘93 Sierra that featured super rattly door panels. Turned out to be an easier fix, as it was the interior door handles that were the culprit. Easier than tearing into the Mav dash.

Ford really needs to start paying attention to details like this, especially with conquest vehicles like the Maverick. They probably have a significant number of folks coming back into the fold who swore off domestic vehicles for a long time due to stuff like this. I’m an example. Last domestic brand new vehicle I purchased before the Maverick was in 1997. This kind of thing was the reason. Lack of attention to detail things like known rattly bits that sour the new car experience…things you are less likely to find in my experience with, say, a Honda. But I digress.

Yeah...I thought the foam was pretty successful from what I was seeing. I thought I had the rattle...but it only did it one or two times when it's been really cold. Haven't heard it again as we are back in the 70's now with 80 degrees set for Christmas day!!! I actually like the wrap on the front...as my kids had been wrapping cars over the past few years. I've come to like the colors, applications and options it gives you.

My 2025 makes a clicking noise from what sounds like the passenger side dash area. I had a buddy ride with Me and push on the dash but it still did it. And like You it was 55 degrees today and I didn't hardly hear it at all. I just noticed it in the Cold Weather and never in the summer months with the windows down or up with the AC on.

I agree I had a BS BB with bad dash rattles among other problems and got rid of it and got the Maverick. And now it has a clicking noise in the passenger side dash area as far as I can tell.

As soon as we can clear space in the garage LoL i am going to create a shadow on top of the ‘tab’ just below the headlight with black wrap.
If the headlight is supposed to look like a horn wouldn’t it cast a shadow instead of the tabs reflecting light as they do now?
This green mav pic isn’t mine but it’s a nice example of the sun angle making the edge under the headlight really bright , which confuses the brain because it’s expecting a shadow.
In the second pic i used an app to hand darkened the top and edge of the ‘tab’ to get the ‘shadow’ .
After doing that my eyes don’t seem to be drawn to the tab, and can visualize the horn now. I don’t know if it will work in reality, but the pic makes it seem like it should.

The headlight absolutely was not designed to look like a horn. Come on. Someone just made that up in an attempt to rationalize the wonky front end. And now a lot of people are saying that to help wrap their brain around such a stuuupid front end.

Don’t get mad at me! I have a 25’ so I get to gaslight myself too.
Okay, it’s a bull horn lol.

I have another post about this but can someone just mold and sell this cover? this is a spy shot when they were testing the 25 model. I figured this would be an option you could order from Ford, but it never happened.

Maybe Ford intended us to be doing this… and oncoming drivers to do a wtf double take Odd things grab attention right? Maybe the tabs are just blank slates to make our own designs on… like graffiti on a passing train… some are cool some suck some are wth and some are blank
