Me, after a 14 hour, 448 mile trip in a semi, just forgets to turn his auxiliary backup lights off when jumping on the freeway & gets pulled over for blinding the sheriff

actually, I *THOUGHT* I'd turned them off, but the app for my wireless controller must have sensed a movement rather than a touch & didn't turn them off.

the sheriff & I had a good laugh & he sent me on the way with nothing more than a "try to be a bit more careful"

Has to be a way to connect your auxiliary lights to your OEM back up lights, no?

well, there is, on this particular vehicle I’ve decided not to tap into any of the factory wiring if at all possible to avoid it. Which is why I went with the wireless controller and the plug-n-play front marker lights from Mabbett to avoid having to actually tap into any factory wiring

Thanks for clarifying. I understand you being hesitant about tapping factory wiring, but you might be over cautious about it. It's easy to do and I've had no issues with Ford servicing my vehicle, but another dealer might have an issue. I just offered a suggestion on how to avoid forgetting to turn off your back up lighting.

Well I just installed my Mabett Tail lights, and they do not disappoint! They are amazing, and add so much to the clean look of the truck! Now if we can just get that hood scoop…..

That picture is deceiving because of the way the light was hitting them. In person they are actually pretty dark.

How bright are the reverse lights? I like the look I'm just concerned that the reverse lights aren't very bright compared to Lasfit LEDs

I would say that my pic is pretty representative of the darkness and how the unlit LED's look under the tinted lens. The photo above is pretty light in comparison to how dark they actually are. But they are not dark, dark.

How bright are the reverse lights? I like the look I'm just concerned that the reverse lights aren't very bright compared to Lasfit LEDs

They are not very bright. I would say they put out about half the brightness of stock reverse bulbs. I had very bright LASFIT LED bulbs in my OEM lenses beforehand. So there was a very noticeable difference when I switched. If you wanted these, but back up lighting brightness is important for your use scenarios, you may want to look for some after market bumper/hitch receiver types. I believe some are simple plug and play.

I have been bugging Mabett about making a hood scoop similar to the one offered by Ford. I love that scoop, but the asking price is outrageous imo.
