Who's done the front strip of tint for the top of the windshield?

I originally had the top strip (15%) on the windshield tinted but now that the windshield is being replaced (rock crack) I am going to skip having it done on the new windshield. Bottom line I just dont like it; especially at night.

I have it and I like it. Windshields have receded too far back for my liking. And to have an all glass roof in the desert Southwest is ludicrous.
A year ago, when we were in town.
I went to a professional window tinter. They have programs on the computer for each vehicle for legal cuts. He cut it on a plotter and installed it for $40.
I actually may have it redone a little lower.

There are pre-cut ones on the internet for those 99% who are into DIY.

They look good only if down correctly. 99% are done wrong. They cut it straight and when applied it looks curved in the opposite direct.

It is. 70% is factory "clear". Applying a 70% film on the 70% window barely if at all darkens the front window but provides excellent UV and IR protection.

Picture of the brow/curtain on my MY 25. Like the contrast with the RR color. Have never had a problem at night with this but I am not watching the stars while I am driving. I think it helps during the day, especially driving west at sunset. To each his own. Had this plus the front two windows done for $100. 30% on front windows. 20% on windshield.

This has no curve, so I guess it is installed "correctly"????

Not quite sure what you mean by: curve up not down. Mine has no curve. Straight across with curve only at roof juncture. Had the curve up on my 22 and was done by the same person and this time he did this way. I like the straight and it seems to me to give more coverage if the sun is to your left or right. I know it covers more surface area. Personal choice, I guess.

I did the full 70% ceramic on the front windshield. There is noticeable heat rejection. Looks pretty clear in real life...

I think the brows look dumb and serve almost no practical benefit unless you’re of drastically below-average height, but to each their own.

+1 to the full clear ceramic tint on the windshield, but I’m not doing it to my truck. Will definitely have it done to my next vehicle.

With the way the Maverick (and all vehicle) windshield glass seems to chip if you look at it the wrong way....at $350 per shot it's really a gamble but it makes such a difference it's the chance I'm willing to take.

Had mine done just to the arrows on each side of the windshield. First the tint shop had it to dark and below the arrows and curved way to much. Had him redo it. Here is how it looks.

I 70% UV ceramic on the whole windshield . Made a huge difference . Made a difference on headlight glare also.

It appears curved even though the cut is straight. I have them follow the roof line to the tint runs parallel. Yes it is personal preference.
