Update on my 2024 Maverick XLT AWD 2.0.
I performed the first oil change and inspection at 1000 miles. This is my 5000 mile update. Changed the oil and filter (Valvoline Protect & Restore and Mobil 1 filter). Rotated the tires and inspected everything. The Maverick 2.0 is simple to service, everything is easily accessible after removing the belly pan. Fuel mileage is awesome, 31 highway, 24.5 city. I did a lot of mountain towing, towing approximately 2000 pounds and got 26 mpg. The trucklet towed effortlessly. The auto stop/start eliminator I installed when I first bought the Maverick has worked flawlessly. We took a 1400 mile trip and I was very happy with the comfort of the seats, no fatigue at all. I love the excellent Ford supplied Continental tires, super quiet, smooth riding and great handling. We have a 2020 Escape (which is the same chassis as the Maverick) that has the factory supplied Michelin tires which produce headache inducing noise and a harsh ride. This little trucklet is a pleasure to drive, versatile, gets great mpg, great performance and we've had zero issues.

and you even use a correct diminutive!

c'mon, folks: "trucklette" makes no sense--either "trucklet", or "truckette", but inserting an L into the latter makes no sense!

hawk, a happy trucklet owner.

Head scratcher that a 2024 model is only getting a 5,000 mile update. I've got a 2023 with 41,000 miles, lol. This example must have been hiding under a rock.

I think we're in the minority liking the Conti tires. They ride quiet. I actually might get them again for summer driving.

Same here, no complaints about my Continentals.

Yes, that milage is super low because I own an Escape and an F 150 (with it's second set of premium Continentals). Also, I'm retired and my wife works from home so we don't put on the miles like we did in years past.

My 2024 will be a year old Nov 30. It has 7100 miles with no issues, no complaints, several mods, and 3 oil changes (1000, 3200, 6800).

It's a nice option to have a 2nd or 3rd car. In VA, my taxes on your 3-car fleet would be over $2,000.00 annually without driving a single mile. It's a $1000 a year minimum just to park a new car. Not counting sales tax, insurance or any other increased expenses.

Beyond my single car Maverick fleet, Turo is my best option, lol.

It may be a compact truck, but it is as large as previous generation of "pickup trucks"!
It is a great size for many people, but why call it a trucklet?
