Maybe stop stealing his wifi?Ford app shows my neighbors address for our vehicle being parked but on the map that comes up it shows it in the right location, can this be corrected...
I just hope only your truck is "visiting" the neighborApparently you CAN be in two places at once!
Agree - a worthless feature especially if not accurate. The ECU, however, is an incredibly fast & accurate electronic marvel. The ECU guys probably sit at a different cafeteria table than the Ford Pass guys.I'm curious why this would be an issue? I mean, the truck's exact position is no big deal to me

This WOULD be an issue IF...the truck was stolen...you report the address showing where the truck is to the police....and they storm the wrong garage. LOL. FYI...I retrieved my stolen F250 this way...and my mother in law got her Raptor back the same way. Ford Pass shows where it is...PoPo shows up and catches the bad guys.I'm curious why this would be an issue? I mean, the truck's exact position is no big deal to me

Yeah, not so with the Ford pass we just told him where the trucks were and they sent a car over and they found both trucks even arrested some people with the raptor. As far as pulling the fuse, Two guys that were in my truck because I saw it drive away when I went outside. They did damage the backside of my screen trying to pull everything they could to shut it off, but it still worked. I did need a whole new navigation screen from the damage. they only had my truck for about 45 minutes before it was recovered so they didn’t have too much time to look for fuses. So the thieves know how to steal the truck, but not how to pull the fuse to disable data upload? That's wild
I've read a lot of stories of people calling police with the location of their stolen stuff thanks to Airtags etc and the police couldn't even be bothered to go look ... "we need a warrant" etc
Are you a surveyor? Back in the day we had to make sure we had enough satellites to collect data. Sometimes working in the middle of the night. Now there are so many up there, it's never an issue.Depends on the resolution of the gps. If you are using 2-3 satellite 6-8 digit gps calc = maybe 100 feet within actual location OR Military 4-8 satellite 16 digit gps calc = not more than 2 inches actual location. One address I lived at the property address was reported to 911 as being the GPS of the left front corner of the survey of the lot. Some 911 gps location is the GPS of the mail box at street or on the front porch. The nearest 911 address to the calculated gps is the address your truck will be flagged at.![]()
