Haven’t been active in a while on here, just lurking mostly - but thought I’d introduce my new starter kit.

Traded in my 1st Gen FX4 for a 2025 Tremor while trade in value and discounts were good on the 25’s. Job 1, so no GPF (don’t want it) and no pro-trailer (don’t need it). So far am loving the new truck. Most of my accessories swapped right over (except Auto Stop Eliminator & Offroam phone mount).

FYI, MY25 is still 1st Gen, it's just a face lift refresh. Second Gen isn't due for a few more years.

'25 EB 2.0L is a very different/new engine, with some layout changes. And the associated tuning changes.
For better or worse...
And the rear differential changes vs a FX4 could also be noticeable.

I haven't driven a normal Maverick, but I suspect the Lobo's rear diff tricks make a difference in handling/capability in certain situations.
I expect the Tremor's diff does similar for certain loose and off-road situations.

Yes I know they made those changes. Vehicle generations are typically based on a total chassis, body, interior design overhaul. Engine changes happen during a generation often enough.

Good choice! Back in 2022, I had originally ordered a FX4, but changed it to a Tremor the moment I heard about it. I wish they had left it as an add-on package instead of it's own trim level. I bet it's nice though. I sure do love my Tremor

Yeah, a little over 75% of my sticker price from 4 years ago (Nov 21) back in trade, plus over $3k off the sticker on the new Tremor…so I’m good with those numbers.
