Don't always rely on Fords emails. I did get one when it was supposed to be built but that was it. No follow up emails saying it was built or shipped out. I got a hold of my salesman at the dealership where I ordered the Maverick. He told me yes it has been built and the eta date of receiving it is the week of 12-06. So I believe you dealership should be able to answer your questions. Mark

Thanks!! I'll certainly ask him about that option!!
Incase it helps your negotiation, here's the message I got (back in November) when I asked our dealer (South Burlington, Vermont) whether we'd get a reduction in price if the truck arrived with a drop-in liner [this was before Tim explained the cutoff].

"This is the first I am hearing of this, but when I went to the online builder tool, they did change it to a drop in liner. If they did this I hope they would lower the MSRP to account for the difference. Talking with one of my managers, he heard that it was because of a lack of parts availability for spray in liners.

"I would hope Ford will honor the spray in liner for the customers who ordered it before the change. If they don't I will make sure that it gets one for the MSRP we all signed at when it was ordered.

"Either way, I will make sure it gets taken care of."

I should add that my email for the FITS accessories didn't say I'd get it in January like some did, it just said in 2022. Therefore, I should expect it Feb. March. I hope anyway, 🙏 because I extended my lease only till April, and I don't know if I can extend it again.🤷‍♀️

To those of us who FE orders but no build date... I mean, they can't just keep skipping over us right? When it's exclusive to first year, we can't just get pushed into MY23. So there's hope there I guess
I'm in the same boat - an FE (June order) that's not scheduled. I did, though, finally get bumped to Priority Code 2 yesterday so there IS hope!

I agree I ordered my truck on June 14 and still waiting. I really believe that Ford is building the more expensive truck first. Us poor folks that have an order below say $26,000 our trucks will be built sometime in April or May that way Ford can make more money. All we can do is hope and pray that we know something soon.
The sticker on my lariat is around $38,500. I have been waiting since early August. They are not building mine first.

Yeah. There's no evidence more expensive builds are getting built first.

Today has been the only day I’ve been “disappointed” to not be scheduled.

But then I took a step back and thought it ain’t the end the world. Buying a new truck and not getting it NOW is the least of my worries.

July order here. Stop F’ING complaining people. You’re buying a new truck. You don’t have major issues in the grand scheme of life.
They are just venting their frustration at the system in which Ford put in place that is definitely not working or fair for many, many early orders. You are correct in the scheme of things the truck is not on top of the list.

I did not mean to stir the pot. I was just trying to make sense of the way Ford is doing business. I agree with what Delzona said that take the June orders first then July and August and do not due any stock orders until our orders are caught up. Also due away with dealer allocations as far as our retail orders are concerned. If Ford would due it this way we would not be having these problems. Although in reality I know Ford will not due this so we will just have to deal with this situation. Also will there be any scheduling next Thursday?
