Any Canadians with Hybrid build dates?

Called Coastal Ford (Vancouver), my dealer this weekend. Told me that Hybrid orders were closing and that there was no scheduled build date as yet

I thought that anyone with the spray in on their build would get the spray in, and anyone who ordered after the change would get drop in. Weird...

If I get that call I'm not taking a drop-in over a factory spray-in! I'll wait...

Long time listener, first time caller.

Ordered an XL hybrid from my dealership (Barrhaven Ford in Ottawa) back in July. Got a call this week from the manager saying they won't be getting any hybrids in until, he expects, April.

Just as well at this point, I figure. Don't need to worry about getting winters on, etc...

My order went in early July as well.
Crossed fingers that this will be the week it gets scheduled.... They are pulling 5 weeks of orders for production on Thursday.

My guess is that Ford will fulfill all the US orders first, then start delivery to Canada.

It seems that when it came to EB deliveries, units to Canada came right out in the first wave. Since population ratio is 10:1 roughly between the U.S. and Canada, we can of course expect the bulk will likely be US orders. But I expect fully Hybrids will be just as early in Canada. All depending more on specific dealer allocation.

Just read this on "Driving" There are 3 Hybrids within 150k from central N.S. And there are 4 within a similar radius of the center of the universe (downtown Toronto) as of this writing. Not my words, theirs lol. So if this is correct, it appears they are already starting to arrive.

I was told today that my order last week would be an early build due to having a name on it and deposit????????

Received notice today from dealer (Kelowna, B.C.) that my Cactus Grey hybrid is built awaiting shipping. Should see it middle to end of February. Ordered Sept. 15.

I was scheduled mid-January for mid-March.

You'll have to check in on your dealer between ordering and scheduling. But once you've got a VIN, you can use the US Ford tracker since it also works with Canadian orders.

I know some have been scheduled or even built for US customers, wondering if anyone has one coming their way? I know ive seen ecoboosts but no hybrids.

Mine came in on the 16th and I picked it up last week. Loving it so far, but too early to tell if it was worth the 6 month wait.
