I am itching to no longer be a 2 vehicle household and go back up to 3 vehicles. I really hope that my first edition gets scheduled this week so I don't act impulsively and buy a Santa cruz or bronco sport.
I’m with you! Man, I just hope our first edition add-on doesn’t hold us up.

man, don’t worry about impulsively buying the Santa Cruz. One test drive is all you’ll need to reaffirm your decision to wait on your Mav. It’s a surprisingly terrible truck. I test drove one the other week. It was horrible. It was more expensive than the 1st ed with many fewer options.

I ordered aCactus Grey Lariat on Aug 14. Didnt get a confirmation email till Sept 17. Nothing since. Contacted dealer twice in Oct. They told me Dec delivery. RIGHT!!! Called Ford on Nov 10. Told me was on hold for spray in bedliner. But they led me to believe that the dealer could have that left off the order. So,I contact dealer and was told the only way would be to delete the Lariat pkg. altogether. How stupid. Dealer is ordering XLT models and having Ziebart do the sprayin bedliner just 2 miles down the street. Apparently Ford just doesnt care about customers who have been waiting for months!!!

Did you order the Luxury Package? In which case your dealer was correct: can't remove the spray-in liner because it's included as the package.

Except for everyone that doesn't get an email a day early or on thursday. Double the disappointment!

I did order the Luxury pkg. But wouldnt you THINK they would build the truck and have the dealer have the sprayin bedliner added after the dealer receives the truck just to speed things up?Guess common sense doesnt work anymore in this day and age!

Does anyone else here wonder why Zeibart and hundreds of other installers can get sprayin bedliner material but FORD cant?

I wonder if it's not the actual coating that is in short supply but rather the actual machines they use to spray the coating on?

If that were the case, you'd think Ford would plan for that given the global supply shortage and shift those machines from other plants. I'm not counting my luck for tomorrow.

The 2022 Maverick scheduling resumes next week -- for 5 production weeks! 1/3, 1/10, 1/17, 1/24, 1/31 🙌

Has anyone considered the reason being that Ford is scheduling 5 weeks is that the Maverick is available in Argentina right now and Brazil next month? I would venture to say that Ford is desiring to include units for Argentina and Brazil in tomorrow's scheduling, which essentially continues to screw those of us who ordered in June/July....

Because they have a business plan, actually follow it and depend on customer service for repeat business …….. just a thought ……..

I totally agree with the part about Ford continuing to screw those who ordered in June/July, every week Ford has a new excuse about why and when they are shipping or not shipping the Hybrid…. First it’s January at the earliest….. oh wait maybe by Christmas…. Oh wait let me spin the crystal ball….. Oh wait we don’t have OKTB….. Oh wait we do have OKTB but we still won’t ship for three weeks…… They just don’t care how their Bozo business decisions affects there customers……
