2026MY is about to start for all Ford vehicles & models - but all of them are still taking orders. Why the “stop order” on only the Tremor?

Also, if you are a regular viewer of Tim B’s weekly scheduling update - you’ll know he always explains why they’re not scheduling a model. Parts shortage, vacation at plant, etc.
But this time nada. Either Tim does not know why, or he knows and decided to not discuss. Both out of the ordinary…

Tim has also mentioned in recent “Maverick Monday” videos that he suspects the Tremor as a model might be canceled due to low demand…

Would likely be due to lack of Tremor specific parts for the MY25. Since it is August suppliers are filling MY26 parts reqs. Even the smallest of changes to a part design for the next MY will affect supply availability. Before I retired the company was a Tier 1 supplier of exterior trim pieces. In 2021 we had to run and warehouse 5000 extra pieces for long term service replacements of a part because the 2022 model had a small change to the substructure that our part assembled to. Which meant a change to the mold for our part to fit. We started producing the 2022 parts in April of 2022 so that they would be molded, sent out for paint, returned, assembled, boxed and ready for delivery in September. Likely a scenario like that for some Tremor part.
You’re probably right - the Tremor is a low volume distinct model and the “biscuits don’t match the gravy” somewhere in the parts required. Need to order one or the other to get into balance. Why Ford stopped taking orders seems odd though. Maybe they need to do an extensive inventory on Tremor only parts?

Edit - or missing one specific Tremor part like you suggest?

When did Tremor become it's own model?

That's what I heard but the 2026MY Tremor is for sale as right now in South America Brazil Argentina and it's build in #Hermosillo as well

That tells me there are no parts issues or MY2026 issues causing the “don’t schedule” here in USA.
I’m sure there will be more info from Tim B on his next Tuesday schedule update.

They're killing the Tremor by making it the most expensive of all Mavericks. I guess Ford thought that making it more expensive and luxurious would drive sales to the model. Not what I would have done. I don't know why they don't sell more of them. I absolutely love mine. Back in 2022, I saw the Tremor package was an extra $3k and ordered it immediately. It was a lot of goodies for not that much more money. Y'all are missing out! 😬

Tim B says on his YT comment section: We didn't have anyone order a Tremor this year.

I thank him for his candor, but that doesn't inspire confidence that Ford will continue with the Tremor. Now I know why my Ford dealer shows the same 5 Tremors for the past 2 months.

I don’t mind the spartan hard plastic interior in my Lobo. Except the recycled plastic seat coverings - too hot thermally!

But most folks shopping for a nearly $50k OTD vehicle expect more than plastic I’m guessing.

The “Tremor Package” upgrade pre-2025 instead of a separate & expensive model = smarter

I did not have information why until today. It is because of wheel manufacturer issues. They can't build any more Tremor wheels until 26MY. It will be back in 26MY.

Based on what Tim (who knows) says - you got the correct answer. Fancy painted Tremor wheel shortage caused the delay. Not sure why I did not completely agree with you!

Also, Tim’s special 4.9% financing goes through the 25th of this month I believe plug plug.

@fordvideoguy Tim, you've often said that buyers in your area are looking for more of a "value" proposition, so XL's & XLT's are more popular. That being said, how are those Lobo Sport Trucks selling?
