With all the cars they keep long, (and short), term the Mav impressed them.

All the whining and complaining on this forum may be just that.

I’ve been happy with my hybrid.

Okay, I'll bite. Is there a story here? Did your first Maverick have a nickname? Tino some kind of divriative of tiny?

Truck in name only. Tino. (it's a joke obviously).....

But when your brother drives a GMC 2500 with the new 6.3 diesel and all of your best friends are in full size trucks self-own just stops the jokes preemptively.

But it is always fun to give them shit when we go down to the beach and it costs them a few hundred to do it.

Good review! - I'm at 28-29 months, and only the cost of two oil changes (3rd coming) at $33 each, and wiper blades. Unless you count the upgrades!😁

I did pay less for my pretty much loaded Lariat after D-Plan & Private Offer though.

Tracks with why we all love our Mavs and the efficiency of the hybrid!
They say 35mpg. With mostly suburban driving and a soft foot I'm getting 47mpg in the summer. Less in the winter.

That's a super accurate reflection of Mav ownership actually. Super handy little truck for doing truck things, mind the massive amount of recalls. And also very accurate is the early MSRP makes it worth it, the current MSRP might not. Only difference between their experience and mine is that my maintenance bill is a good bit higher on account of both a check engine light and an AWD light, both of which required money out of pocket for replacement parts. If anyone asks me if they should get a Mav, I can pretty much just send them to this article.
