Perhaps try the other key if available. Good luck!

Cheers.

What happens or doesn't happen when you try the key in the doors??
Does the key not go in?
Does the key fail to turn?
Is the key very hard to turn?
Walk me through the steps.

Did you buy it new and still have the 2 original fob sets with it?

Or did you buy it used?
If so, the fob key is cut, right?

At this point hybrid doesn't matter - EB or hybrid if battery is dead the fob ain't working. Key in the fob is only method.

Mike,
Remember, there is a lot more resistance using your key on a car with power locks, than one without power locks.
Don't spray anything into the lock.
With it being a fairly new vehicle it should not need anything sprayed into the locks.

Spray some WD40 or appropriate oil into the keyhole and gently work it

(goes out to the garage to try the physical key)

EDIT: when you turn the key it doesn't feel like it's doing anything - there's no sound or mechanical feedback of anything moving, but the door DOES lock and unlock. Funny thing, it only locks / unlocks the driver's door. Other doors aren't affected

That would make sense if the key is only for when you have no battery power. Actuators on the other doors would not have power anyway.

The OP has gone dark.
I wonder if this is a one and done drive-by posting🤔

Heck, I'm still waiting for "FrankFord"
to return and tell me what he found out with his automatic locking drivers door.

Hybrid should not matter, they're all the same among trim levels. What trim and will the key turn in the lock? Any resistance, if you want help, tell us more detail of what's going on.

Gotta love the internet. One guy trying to help is adamant that the OP shouldn't spray anything into the lock and the very next guy tells the OP to spray WD-40 or similar oil product! Lol

I thought the same thing but didn't post figuring it might hurt some feelings... Then I thought who the duck cares? 😂 I hate autocorrect.
