Not sure you get a paper manual anymore. The digital world ya knowI just text my salesman, hopefully will hear something soon. Also I didn't get an owner's manual packet, wondering if they forgot that as well?

It's BS. Someone in his shop has the other one and is planning on stealing it off your driveway when you're least expecting it.I picked up my xlt last Sat. I only got one key/fob. My salesman said ford would be sending me another set. Is that consistent with others who have picked theirs up?
Replacing a key fob costs $300 (including programming)How much does it cost to get a spare?
That's a good question. I've been stuck late at night digging through the manual to try to find out some detail. What if there is no signal? Come to think of it, why don't they set it up so you can display it on the console screen? Then again, if there is an electrical problem you wouldn't be able to view it then, either. Not sure you get a paper manual anymore. The digital world ya know![]()
So there's a good chance that there's a set of keys for your new truck floating around the dealer? I wouldn't feel comfortable with that.Mine came with two key sets at time of purchase. I wonder who at the dealership lost your other set.
Or One buyer got one key fob and one truck and the other buyer got one key fob for his truck that "fell off the train"!Be sure to get that in writing from your dealer. I've had dealers use a "We Owe" document and we had to sign it even if it said "nothing" on it. Sounds like they lost one of the key fobs.
