Team Maverick,
When Mavericks first came out, this was a very popular aftermarket size. Many posted it should have been the OEM size, especially on FX4 models.
I have 60k on my OEM Falken Wildpeak AT Trails. They have been fine, lasted longer than expected, averaged 29mpg, but are a bit noisy...
I read with great interest the setting changes folks program using Forscan. I live in Olympia and would be willing to drive and meet someone with the skills and gear to pay for programming my Mav.
Nothing performance related or exotic. I mainly want to rid myself of the Seatbelt Map and a few...
Thanks to those who weighed in so far. As happens, plans changed and the Maverick was not needed today.
I did average 27 mpg on a beautiful drive while daydreaming about getting a larger intercooler. So, win.
My wife is currently camped with a bunch of friends with our Ram 3500, a horse trailer and a small bumper pull camper. She used the 3500 to tow the camper out, then shuttled home and collected the horse trailer and returned.
I'm getting ready to do the same in reverse. I could avoid a return...
Only 8k? That's insane. Hope you were laughing when you walked out. That kind of experience would certainly sour me on a place.
I was one of the idiots who paid over MSRP for a 22. I really wanted the Maverick, and ordered one early but delivery was uncertain. So I paid a premium.
12 months...
My experiences with Mullinax in Olympia have been fine. They have a lube/oil change place across the street for most regular service needs.
I had a 22 Eco (now have a 23) and have had all the recalls done at Mullinax and one warranty fix. All were done without issue.
I've had similar experience. 16ft Jon Boat loaded with gear. On flat roads at hwy. speeds I can average over 20MPG. If any hills come into play it gets around 18. Power is great for towing.
