What was the first thing you bought for your Maverick?

Bedrug - protects the bed as well or better than any other option I have seen or tried, saves my kness if I chose to crawl into the bed, and looks terrific!! It's my fourth vehicle with a BedRug product, I recommend them highly!!

Those are awesome tires for winter!

Yesterday, I installed my 2023 Mustang Mach-E GT wheels with Summit 255/50R20 tires. I cloned the TPMS sensors with Autel MX and my programmer. Summer cruising tires! But, that was my third upgrade after the Ford rubber bedmat being second. I have a building full of accessories for my little truck!

Tailgate damper. Black tailgate letters. Plastic cover for the rectangular hole in the bottom of the tailgate. Simple black plug for the hitch. Black trim piece around the dash radio knobs, hood struts; amber side marker and turn signal lenses from GADCAD3 for the side logo. Still in the box: illuminated door sills from FoMoCo.

First thing was a soft trifold Tonneau cover, had the front side windows tinted. Then ordered a hood skin, and tailgate letters. (I know you only wanted one thing, but we all get carried away when we start modding!)

Sorry to hear of your knee situation. I'm not bothered by 8" scars as my brother lost both his legs from being hit by a drunk driver back in 2001, so kinda of used to seeing that. Without further digression, the bed rug also protects items from getting damaged. I didn't do the sides although I wish I did.

I'm not paid and I bought the Maxzina tailgate hole plug and the rear shock covers. I posted pictures on the forum of them. If I was paid I would have a much longer list. I also added a tailgate seal kit for water infiltration unfortunately the tonneau cover I bought leaked worse than the tailgate so have to try a different brand to see if the seals help.

LOL, it is all in good fun MavStangVa. I am glad you pointed out the shock covers. I am concerned about the relocate for the emergency fuel door release. That seems to be implied that someone should know where or how to relocate it. But I think it is a good idea to get that covered. I guess even if I had to carry a pry tool with me to pop off that cover in the event I needed to release the door that would be doable. Assuming that doesn't happen often. That shock should have been covered in the first place.

I have a pile of stuff waiting in my Amazon cart to get, but I was curious what others bought first and why.

It got ridiculous…a room full of accessories waiting months but everything looked great once in the truck!

The 1st thing I bought for my Maverick was about 30 days after purchase and was a full tank of gasoline. I bought a second fill a month later.
