Timing belt

I’ve been here on MTC for almost 1 year, and never heard anything about timing belt replacement. At what time should this be considered on a ‘24 EcoBoost? If at all. Not until over 100,000 miles, I don’t know Thanks for any advice folks.

You misunderstood what I meant.
Example.
Rather than using the one word search function of the Forum, I prefer Google.
With Google I can type in a whole phrase versus one word.
It's easier to search for answers and it includes the forum posting as you can see in the attachments.

Scheduled maintenance includes accessory drive belt inspection at 100,000 miles and replacement at 150,000 miles if not changed prior.

There is no mention of the timing chain in the owner's manual, including maintenance. I have no idea what the Reddit post claiming 75,000 mile replacement (and calling it a belt vice chain) is basing this on.

Me either, but admittedly I didn't take time to read it. This line of engines started in 2011 for the 2012 Focus, and none of this lineup have had a timing belt. Pretty much any Ford that has variable valve timing has a chain. Well, with some exceptions like idiotic 1.0 3-cylinder with the wet belt setup....

I also usually use -video: It not only suppresses those videos of people babbling for five minutes about the firing order of an engine (for crying out loud, it's the number 1 to 8!), it also suppresses the ai babble.

I avoid ai to the point of scrolling past any ai results posted here without looking at them; artifacts and just plain wrong are far to common.

It's often a sort of modern day equivalent of when people used to just post a link to a Google Search (lmgtfy.com was a popular one "let me get that for you") with your question embedded in it on a forum or message board instead of chipping in their own thoughts. It would animate the search term when you open the page like you were typing it in yourself and clicking search - a convienient way to be super passive aggressive to newbies.

As far as the reddit post above, the summarizer algorithm clearly picked up mid-paragraph, that user was complaining about their previous vehicle timing belt service and glad that the Maverick didn't have a belt:

Thank God…my 2001 Toyota 4Runner, greatest vehicle I’ve ever owned…(350,000 miles and still running strong), has a timing belt and it cost $500.00+ dollars to change it every 75,000 miles. Can’t wait to get my Maverick Hybrid.
