I don't know what I did, but now, everytime I start the truck I get a pop up screen on the dash that shows the seat belts. Even though the seat belt is on, and there is a check mark in the screen, I have to hit "OK" to get it off the screen.
Any idea how to eliminate this.
While on the subject, is there a way to eliminate the doors from locking automatically when the truck starts rolling.
thanks

There are an unruly amount of threads on the forum asking this exact thing. A quick search will net you quite a few results. I’ve had the same issue since I got mine about a week ago (24’ Lariat Hybrid). Here’s what I’ve gathered. You can try disabling it using the factory method in the manual on page 47 or 48 but many people including myself haven’t got that to work. Of the people who have gotten it to work, some say it gets rid of the message and some say it gets rid of the seat belt ding but not the message. There’s a couple threads in the ForScan section if you’re comfortable with using it but as far as I can tell ForScan doesn’t support the 24’s yet. The last method I’ve come across is to buckle all the empty seats as well as your and the message doesn’t show up. Give the factory method a shot and let us know what your result is. It’s worth a shot.

Thanks for the head up.

...is there a way to eliminate the doors from locking automatically when the truck starts rolling.
AFAIK, no. I wish there was, though.

I don't live in an area where I feel the need to drive around with the doors locked all the time. So I, too, would like to disable this "feature."
At least with Fords, you can just pull the inside door handle and the driver's or front passenger's door will unlock/open.
But if I'm in a bad crash, I'd like emergency personnel to be able to open the door from the outside, w/o having to break a window to do so.

So my long gravel driveway routine involves: OK-ing various on-screen nag boxes, turning off the GD radio that I didn't turn on, pressing the drive mode button 3 times to get to Slippery mode and hitting the unlock button on the door.
Then, the dash starts rattling, so I turn the sound system back on to drown out that annoyance.

Seems pretty dumb to make you go thru some stupid method rather than just make it a setting toggle... It's just software... Ford... haha

OB, something is wrong here! Your driveway routine is the giveaway. I think you are driving a BRITISH vehicle!!! Do your headlights flicker at night? Are there oil puddles where you park your truck? If so, I think that there was a mishap at a rail switch station, and someone in South America is driving your truck and you have his. Omigod!

I completely agree though I don’t necessarily think it’s Ford’s fault. It’s a regulatory thing. Every new car has a seatbelt chime that’s pretty much the same difficulty or harder to disable. However, the popup message is way overkill even by regulatory standards 🤦‍♂️
