anyone in san diego area want to come out for our non profit ( San Diego off road coalition) clean up with free drink and bbq lunch , we will be with the blm rangers at plaster city east where the orange ez ups are. Right off highway 8 at Evan hewes highway.

We need to bother Bendpak and get you a lift. Doing this work in your driveway on jackstands is impressive.

thanks , actually have a lift . Needs a little work . Been busy with a little recovery from a cancer thing . Probably laying around too much led to thinking about the Tremor too much! . Last year had half my stomach and all my esophagus removed so took delivery of my tremor right after surgery and have been doing what I can . fully recovered now and will be able to throw some more actual time at the shop stuff soon .
But a new lift would go a long way right now .
Should bust out the go pro and start you tubing !
We’ll see .

Hardcore man. Cancer is a real mother.... My wife is a 5 year survivor and my dad is close to a 25 year survivor. Keep doing what you love, that make life worth fighting for.

i am adding more pics of final ecm/ Ecu relocate.
trimmed down factory bracket and added 3 standoffs like original in proper locations to cut solidly, 3/4” Clarence from battery and air box lid just pull open and comes off .

This should have been the factory ECU location. Your install looks really good.

Thank you , yes works good , airbox still comes out , all harnesses fit just fine .just have to remove 3 fasteners to access fuse box .

Any updates on the build. How do you like the GR40s so far. Planning on installing them on my tremor this summer unless a better option becomes available.

Just got spacers done to put my a arms on , chromoly front crossmember with 4” lift built in and 1” forward stretch , also have complete exhaust sitting in bed to put on ,hopefully this week . Crossmember is designed and started ,but my friend who is way better tig welder is on vacation for about 2 more weeks . Hopefully by end of month I’ll have the first one done.
slow but getting there.
I‘m also looking for a viable 2 1/2” strut and shock setup . I’ve reached out to see if a few of the local makers of shocks and or flat out suspension would be interested in working with me . Everybody is busy.
for the money the gr40 are great , added droop and adjustability.
I’m just looking for more length , dampening and possibly internal bypass built in .
plus need different mount tab locations and such.
Will post exhaust and maybe 1/8 mile runs pre and post tune in next 2 weeks.
May do a little desert run too with new an arms to test spring rates In 2-3 weeks .

This is KICKARSE! Still working on it? how did the GR system ride off road with just normal sized tires on it ha ha! oh and F uk cancer.

hey there, unfortunately bwicka passed away from cancer earlier this year.

I do not know what his family did, or plans to do, with his Maverick but his technical skills and contributions to the community were immense. I don't know how long it would have taken before someone else spotted what he did right away - that the Tremor cv axles fit the standard ecoboost and could/should be used instead.
