Hello!

I just picked up a 2025 Maverick Lobo and I'm left wondering, does it have a fake engine noise that is piped in through the speakers or through the firewall? I can't seem to find much information on this online but my guess is if it does its exclusive to the Lobo trim.

If anyone else could chime in with some certainty I'd appreciate it.

Thank you!

yes, lariat, lobo and tremor all have fake engine sounds played in the speakers.

you can disable it with forscan. it should be the value listed under 'engine sound enhancement' but it might be labeled as something else on 25s.

Thank you very much! My Forscan tool should be delivered this week, so I'll take a look.

I'm torn on the noise tbh

its a 4 banger, only certain ones sound good no matter what exhaust

its fake noise but doesnt sound "terrible" but it is fake

I do got weird taste though modern rally cars, old carbureted v8's and Mazda 787B are my likes

I thought just lobo had it. I would love to disable it on my Lariat. I had dug around some, a while back, but couldn’t find a setting in Forscan. Searched F150 & Mustang forums, but couldn’t find anything that matched; the closest I could find were already 0 on mine. That is when I figured it had to be Lobo only.

I can understand putting fake noise in an electric car but not a gas burner.
I mean if you want fake noise why not make it sound like a top fuel dragster or an F ONE or Indy car.
That would blow someone's mind at a stop light

BTW is it possible to upload a video here?

Unfortunately I cannot find it with forscan.

I would like to invent a LOUD exhaust speaker option for EVs. Then the good old boys would buy them. I actually had one I worked with say the ONLY reason he would never buy an EV is you can;t put loud exhaust on them.
Dodge tried that with the new Charger.
