I live in NorCal and was looking at the JB4 also. Keep us updated on performance and reliability if you don’t mind.
PS, congrats on the tune and enjoy that ride!

Was the baseline test on 91 or 93 octane?Ok guys I got it back!!!! This is fun holy crap you hit the peddle and it just goes. So they will have the 2025 up soon. I love the fact it’s plug and play nothing to flash and I can take it off for smog here in cali and put it back on after. They said it’s still an Alpha build I am dropping the peddle to the floor and sending them data.![]()

The only problem I see with the Cobb tuner for me is the factory warranty. They can see you flashed the ECU. I don’t disagree on the failure points. I just didn’t want to have to flash the ecu then reflash back to stock for smog then flash again for tune on top of Ford being able to see you tuned the vehicle and void the warranty.Watched the install video, and I'm a bit turned off by all the extra points of failure/signal corruption in order to tap into systems.
Didn't realize how simple and clean Cobb tuner is, in comparison. I may wait to see what Cobb comes up with for interfacing with the 2025+ 2.0L engine+7 spd trans.
This is a good start to hopefully bringing more attention from the aftermarket for the new engine/model too.
I'm actually wondering what will happen when tuners get a hold of the 300T version..![]()
Same thoughts here on warranty. I just wish the JB4 could tune the trans also. The only problem I see with the Cobb tuner for me is the factory warranty. They can see you flashed the ECU.
