Hey Everyone,

I just bought this Nose Splitter / Spoiler Kit on Ebay. i installed it yesterday, and it has the daytime running lights, and sequential turn signals. i would genuinely like to see what you guys think? is it cool, just right, or even too much????? i think it adds a nice touch to the front end personally, and the lights are very bright so makes it stand out at night. any and all thoughts would be greatly appreciated.

thanks,
Rick

Same here, love the look but I’d tear it up. Curious to hear about effects on drag coefficient and mpg’s.
That and side skirts would likely increase cooling efficiency. At big speeds down force might increase due to lower under body air pressures. Cooling efficiency due to underbody suction (Lower pressure air) pulling more air through the engine compartment.

I think it looks really good, but my worry would be bottoming out going in\out of some steeper driveways.
Thank you. i was afraid of the same thing, but honestly after installation i found out it really does not change the clearance as much as you may think. i mean yes it obviously lowers it a bit, but not nearly enough to cause any real concern.

Looks great on your truck. It might not look as good on a truck of a different color,

Good Point. I have seen it pictured on a blue, and red Maverick, and i thought it looked good then as well.

How does it do with parking curbs? That would be a concern. But it looks good to me.
I have only had it on the truck 1 day so far, but i have had to park it several times., and so far it clears everything just fine. it has cleared parking space blocks so far with inches to spare, and getting it out of parking lots with speedbumps, or dips have been no problem so far. i made sure to run the wiring well within the truck bumper so none of it is exposed, or even near anything moving.

Drag? Maybe. Keeping air from under the vehicle is a good thing. Cooling? Definitely not, you aren't somehow forcing more air into the grill, and if you were it would hurt your drag.
