I kind of like the way it looks, my only concern would be does it significantly hang lower than the regular soft damn, or air diverter, molding, or anything else under the front end? - I had a front bumper protector on my GMC Envoy, and it wrapped under the bumper, and I caught that blasted thing on tall parking tops all the time. Backing up would rip the clips off, and I'd have go get out, pick it up, and toss in the rear storage area. - Finally sold it, and bought a true tubular push/light bar that mounted through the lower grill opening, which didn't affect ground clearance.

Sadly, half the time you didn't hear anything to indicate you had pulled over something higher than it was, or the stupid pins that hold them down and weren't hammered low enough....not until you back away from it anyway. Reverse seemed to slightly dip the front end on that vehicle, so it cleared going forward, but caught backing up, which might not be an issue with a front drive based vehicle, but it was on a RWD vehicle.

your concerns are valid, and i had the same reservations when i bought it. i can say honestly though that its not nearly as low as you think. i have had no issues negotiating speedbumps, parking blocks, potholes, steep driveways, or any other normal concern you would think of. it truly protrudes very little below the actual air dam of the front bumper lower molding. is it lower...yes, but not enough to cause you any issues in normal dayu to day driving i believe.

Opinions:
1: pineapple on pizza is a good thing.
2: the Maverick isn't a real truck, but it's really cool!
3: I probably should have read more than the title to this thread as I'm guessing there were specific opinions desired.

thank you for the kind comment. i really like the splitter. i think it gives it a more aggressive look.
It does, I’m a very tough person when it comes to vehicle mods. I’m not a fan at f anything wild. This is just the right amount. I actually would run that one for sure.

Hey Everyone,

I just bought this Nose Splitter / Spoiler Kit on Ebay. i installed it yesterday, and it has the daytime running lights, and sequential turn signals. i would genuinely like to see what you guys think? is it cool, just right, or even too much????? i think it adds a nice touch to the front end personally, and the lights are very bright so makes it stand out at night. any and all thoughts would be greatly appreciated.

thanks,
Rick

Looks badass!!! Good job installing it
Thank you very much for the kind words. I would like to portray that I am some master installer, but in reality it’s just a fairly simple kit to install. You must just take your time.
