This is my first posting. I'm very nervous. 😳 First, I want to thank everyone that takes time to put up posts. I have read hundreds of posts since I got my Maverick. They have been very helpful. At the end of February, it was time to say goodbye to my 17 yr old 2007 Cadillac DTS. We wanted the new car to be flat towable behind our motorhome, so we bought a 2024 Catcus Grey Lariat Hybrid with moonroof and the black package. It's a really nice ride.

Since buying the truck, I've bought and personally installed:
Roadmaster direct connect basplate
Roadmaster Nighthawk tow bar
RVI Brakeshadow w/tablet
Roadmaster towing combo kit
EGR bug deflector
EGR window deflectors
EGR wheel flares
Taconet for the bed
Silcone tray for the dash
Headrest hooks.
Tailgate letters
Gator trifold bed cover
Bumpstep for the rear hitch
High/low hitch adapter for the RV.

When the weather changes in Chicago, I'll be doing a ceramic coating job on it.

I thought I was done, but I see 2 cool things listed by some of the folks doing the 3D printing. Maybe another $50.

Does the spending ever end? 🤔

Once again thanks to all the folks who post. You helped me a lot.

Agree, it's a money pit. Haven't bought anything for 14 months until today, got some speaker harnesses, already had the speakers. I crossed off the things you didn't need. From now on, just police yourself. You don't need that shit...

Letting my Amazon prime membership expire really helped out with that lol.
I think most of the Mabett /Maxzina accessories are kind of niche and ugly but customization is a big part of truck culture lol. Having a vehicle that looks like everyone else's is boring.

I don't plan to keep my Ecoboost anymore if they can't unlock the PCU so I'm trying to keep it stock for trade-in / resale but if I wasn't I would be doing new tires, vinyl hood decals, and plastidip personalization.

Yes, just like my house and RV, my Maverick is sucking up money. Sometimes it's hard to tell the difference between needs and wants. I really think I need to upgrade my 70" TV to an 80".

I had to edit my original post twice because I forgot about things I bought.

It's better to die broke and happy than rich and miserable.

"Going broke buying accessories"

Bump step and bed cover get a thumbs up, not a cross-off, IMO.

There are no less that 25 additional common Mav accessories of which you do not have yet. So just drive it for a while and choose wisely from here on out.

Let's see. You have a Mav Hybrid that get's 40 + mpg. Not sure what your motorhome get's but let's say hyporthetically 10 mpg. My point is. maybe you should use your Mav to tow your motorhome lol.

I should try it. I'm only averaging like 34 mpg now. I do need to read threads on how to get my average up. All the main roads where I live are like 45 mph roads so that may have something to do with it. BTW the motorhome is more like 7 or 8 depending on the wind. I ignore the receipts at the gas station.
