Any update on this, did Hertz ever notice that you switched out the lighting on their Lariat loaner?

Hi I’ve finally gotten these working! I’m updating the original post and check out the post by @EONR24 on this thread and his thread regarding how to make them work!

So how much were the headlight assemblies?

They mentioned at end of original post around 1.1-1.5k for each headlight and around 400 for each taillight.

Looks great I really like it, just a lot of damn money to add a DRL only to the headlamp assembly and LED accent on the tail lights. If I had an extra $3,000 in my pocket burning a hole I'd be all over this.

Trust me, I know all about expensive OEM led headlights, I put them on my 2016 F-150 XLT when new. Way better than the stock halogen.

Yes it was expensive but worth it to me just for the upper light. But I figured I was doing the whole blackout thing anyways so I went all the way.

I found the wire on the drivers side harness that loops into low beam curcuit. Passenger side doesn't have that same wire. Did yours?

It’s there, I believe it was a little deeper in the harness.

I actually just connected them without touching any of the wires and everything works, drl, turn, high and low... no forescan either.

If the upper portions work, then I assume they are used? From what other people have told me, you don’t have to do the wiring, but I had already done it because that’s how it is on the lariat.

Actually they came from a brand new vehicle that was totalled in transport. So new but technically used

Yup! I wasn’t going for “used” in a bad sense but more so “previously activated”. Those upper LED portions are controlled by a module that is woken up on the line line. I bought my new so I had to have them activated with the truck I had.

Be sure to share pics! Just confirming, your upper drls are dimming with the head/parking lights as on a lariat? Just curious.
