I have a '23 Ford Maverick XL pickup. I installed LED's for the tail lights and added 2ea load resistors per tail light. Each tail light has two Brake, Tail, Turn LED bulbs installed. After doing this, I still have hyper flash on the interior turn signals. Also, when the tail lights are 'On' and I turn on either turn signal, it barely blinks to the point of not noticeable. When headlights/tail lights are off, turn signals work bright as they should. The length of wire that comes with the load resistors are too short. I replaced the wires with 16 gauge red wires. All wires are soldered. Also, I have a tailgate sequential light bar that works fine. Any recommendations?

Halogen bulbs are 28 watts vs LED at 4 watts. Load resistor is 24 watt on 12 volt system.

put original bulbs back in until you figure out the "proper" resistance
MY 2023 XLT and first builds. I only changed LED for the reverse bulbs for clear bright light. Had bought rear stop bulbs, never installed and returned. Kept the OEM bright stock as they were fine. Then started seeing the threads for hyperflashing.

The real advantage of LED brake lights is that they light up noticeably quicker than incandescent bulbs, not that they are brighter. The speed of LEDs improves the reaction time of the driver following you, and that reaction time improvement can equate to a full car length of distance at highway speeds.

In the video, the left taillight is LED, the right is stock incandescent. Note that the brightness between the two is comparable but the incandescent takes time to reach full brightness, whereas the LED reaches full brightness instantaneously.

did you wire the resistors in correctly? one end of the resistor goes to (-) the other goes to (+)

I installed LEDs on my Lariat front/rear & the exterior lights flashed at a normal rate even though the dash indicators hyper flashed. I solved the hyper flash with FORSCAN. If the hyper flash doesn't bother you it's not really a big deal.

I did do all of the recommend changes in Forscan to prevent Hyperflash. After Forscan changes, I still have interior Hyperflash.

China bulbs yes, but not cheap @ $25 ea x 4= $100 on Amazon. LED bulbs must have all three functions-brake, tail lights, & turn signal in one bulb. Resistors were 50W 6 ohms from the Amazon 'best seller'.

I learned on my other vehicles NOT to buy off brand LED bulbs. Or if you do, test them fully right away, day & night and return if not working correctly. I didn't want load resistors and have an LED draw as much power as the incandescent. The Lasfit front turn signal switchbacks work and look great for me. And I love the 3rd brake light Flashing red LED (two sets of 4 flashes then solid red). Saw one on a police vehicle and it drew my attention right away and got for my Mav.
