Well the stock engine will only be good for about 420-430whp based on all the other ecoboost builds. I know that everyone building 2.0 or 2.3 focuses stopped around 420whp. On stock engine parts. To get over 500whp he’s also gonna need a bigger turbo. The factory rs turbo is pretty dang big and wouldn’t come close. The nx2 is huge and it take that unit to break 500whp. In the focus and mustangs.Reaching for 500 hp, wowza !
Ever see those YouTube’s where the dragster blows the head right through the hood ?
If the Ecoboost holds together and the transmission does not detonate and the axles don’t rip out,
Sorry I couldn’t help it :’P
That will be sum excellent Badassery !
You’ve got to give us some quarter mile times !
Before and after.
Oh I’d like to see a few roll ups, Say,
40 to 80 mph.
The axles would for sure die as that was the first thing I tore up in my rs once I broke 425whp. But man a 500whp maverick would be awsome. And his fuel system should do it. I am using the lms hpfp and injectors on my rs and am at 528awhp flex fuel.
