it's awesome to find dealers like that, so much better than the ones that chirp at you for a K&N filter, non-stock tire sizes, or any other number of small changes. As silly as it sounds I may have the dealer install the turbo. They are thrilled with my Maverick adventures so far and have been awesome so far. I can do it myself but finding the time is the problem.
Lol Once we max out this hybrid Corsair turbo, you won't believe what we have planned next! It will be a game changer!Y'all crazy. Keel going!
I hope it's forged pistons lol! I'm part of the fast Maverick group and have been on with you guys since the beginning. Excited to see what comes down the line next. By the time Ford does early some Maverick St it won't have a chance against the ones that we have in the fast Mavericks groupLol Once we max out this hybrid Corsair turbo, you won't believe what we have planned next! It will be a game changer!![]()

Hey is the same 2.0 turbo in any other Fords? Looks like escape and bronco sport have a 3 cyl right?

I think hes talking about the base Bronco Sport motor. The Dragon. No, not right. They do not have 3 cylinder engines.

When our dealer got their first Maverick on the lot back in 2021 - One of the first things he said was they were glad Ford didn't try any of that 3 cylinder nonsense -)Kohler![]()
Its actually the main reason the Maverick was a no brainer. You have to get the Badlands to get the 2.0. I think they start at $38k.
I get it but not in anything that isnt either a hybrid with an electric supplement or under 3000lbs. Focus, Fiesta, maybe. Honestly how much faster would the Hermasillo production line have been if there was only 2 motors on it for both Bronco Sport and Maverick. I think it would shave atleast a few hours of every build time. That adds up. 35-40mpg Bronco Sport and AWD hybrid Maverick. When our dealer got their first Maverick on the lot back in 2021 - One of the first things he said was they were glad Ford didn't try any of that 3 cylinder nonsense -)
