No More Spray In Bedliners (says dealer) ?

Yep, let me echo a few others. I am not accepting a substitute for my spray in liner that I already have ordered and put a deposit on. That is a deal breaker. I am already willing to wait it out for the truck I ordered, I am not going to accept a lessor product.

Sounds like orders are closing early next week according to Fordvideoguys livestream on Tuesday. So definitely get your order in this weekend. Some others have posted that some options such as the First Edition is no longer available to order.

My order was placed June 15 and I have a week of December 13 build. Not a word from anyone regarding by spray in bed liner.

I sent my dealer an email this morning asking them to double check my build to make sure the spray in is still on it.

Lariat Lux package ordered on 11/1/21.

I'll post the results when I hear.

I heard it doesn't effect the Lariat
Just the xlt lux.

When was your order made? I was told and confirmed by several sources that existing orders that included spray in liner like myself will get a spray in liner....

Am I missing something? Why is everyone so mad? Who ordered their truck with lux and is “paying” for a spray in but is now getting a drop in instead? I don’t think anyone yet. Sounds like everyone’s who’s says spray in is still getting a spray in.

Anyone who ordered after early November is getting a drop in with their lux package and it is clearly shown that way on the order preview.

There is a $120 difference between the drop in and the spray in as stand alone options. Everyone is still getting what they paid for at the time of their order. You’re just getting a slightly better value with the package if you ordered before November.

If ford starts taking away the spray in from people who ordered it that way with no compensation or price adjustment then get mad.

And then they’ll say no and sell it at a markup after your 48 hours are up to the first person who shows up on the lot.

Buyers don’t have much negotiating room in this market so good luck if that happens.

First of all, I'm not convinced this news is totally correct.
IFFFFF it is, I see it like someone saying:
"We're replacing that Mercedes with a Yugo"
OR
"Instead of that Filet you ordered, we're going to give you a baloney sandwich"

I HOPE this isn't true. I've been extremely patient with waiting game (Build date took a long time to happen/ I didn't cry or complain. Got changed to a future date/ I didn't cry or complain. Got changed ANOTHER time/ I didn't cry or complain.
But IFFFFF this is true, I'll turn into a maniac

Well Darn. Good for those already ordered, but new orders, bummer. I would suggest to just get the drop in and then go and get your spray in later. I'm not really sure how the drop-in works. Is it molded to the bed and just loose or is it some how adhered to the bed? Or if you order the luxury plan, can you just eliminate the bed liner? Also the lux package has, for me, a lot to offer not just the bed liner.

I see there are two bolts holding it in...should be easy to remove
