Not sure how that would work, the XL and XLT don't have sync, the software is called Connected Touch Radio according to Ford. Sync 3 isn't just software, but also hardware. Is it still Sync 2.5 or was it upgraded to Sync 3?

Uncle Sugar........lol!Great news on things running smoother and a brighter screen. Now for the $64,000 question, is your backup camera image more stable now?
These were much needed software updates that Ford NEVER would have spent the time and money to do with Uncle Sugar on their ass. Excellent.
Kind of confused by this. These were much needed software updates that Ford NEVER would have spent the time and money to do with Uncle Sugar on their ass. Excellent.
Yes.Kind of confused by this.
Did you mean "without Uncle Sugar on their ass?"
Yes, you get many more benefits than just fixing the camera. My camera had 0 problems but I took it in anyway and was pleasantly surprised by the other fixesI have a 2024 maverick XL CG and have had no problems with the backup camera. Should I take in anyway?
- Android Auto / Spotify runs a lot smoother. It's almost like there's more RAM available after the update for these programs to connect faster and run better.
- It reset my seatbell chime, now I have to re-do it
- Some people said it reset the backup cam setting to a 2-3 second delay if you previously had it set to no delay
- The infotainment screen is much brighter
Thanks, this helps a little. This is the only recall I have and I've been putting it off because I have no issues and don't want any.- Android Auto / Spotify runs a lot smoother. It's almost like there's more RAM available after the update for these programs to connect faster and run better.

That makes a lot of sense why the infotainment system performs a lot better. I'm pretty stoked they made the screen brighter right before summer b/c it was a little dim for a really sunny day.. not anymoreI read somewhere that the issues we faced with the infotainment unit were due to memory leaks in the software. Fixing those memory leaks should free up a lot of ram.
It's actually delay off. I guess if you thought you left something on the bumper you could watch it roll down the street behind you?Why would anyone ever want a delay on the camera?
Its nice if you back in to a spot a bit crooked and then want to straighten up by pulling forward and backing back in. Also for aiming for a trailer. It's actually delay off. I guess if you thought you left something on the bumper you could watch it roll down the street behind you?
Your Infotainment System should run more smoothly, post Update. Thanks, this helps a little. This is the only recall I have and I've been putting it off because I have no issues and don't want any.
