I believe it could of been a lot clearer, cleaner and much more simple - Just because you got Technology and Graphics Capabilities doesn't mean you know how to apply it, in my opinion this was designed by some kid fresh out of school with little to no engineering skills who spent most of his time gaming instead of learning…
Can you post an image from Toyota, Honda, or another manufacturer that you would prefer Ford had followed their design?

Honda doesn’t give you anymore info than Ford does.

also look at my god awful MPGs

Curious on that very familiar looking type power meter gauge - about what % does Honda cut off the EV only mode, like truck at 10% if battery allows.
If that is a % scale, appears to be better than 10%, and what is needed for your 75 MPH right then.

Honda is a series hybrid system with a huge electric motor. The electric motor drives the crv 90% of the time unless at highway speeds when the ICE engine is directly connected 1:1. So at 75mph you’re seeing a direct drive ICE engine 1:1.

Otherwise it is always the electric motor powering the vehicle. When battery is depleted the ice engine starts to run the motor generator to charge the battery to power the electric motor.

Check out their new speedometer for the upcoming 2026 models, it's a CLEAR CONTRAST! You shouldn't be looking down there anyway!

So the Blue, usually representing EV, means what in this case?

I took the underlined green to mean that much recharge possible (by braking or ICE) but with no big green bar there is none, and the underlined blue to mean that much EV power potential, but only using the short amount of blue gauge.

I was thinking that is nicer than a single pointer gauge - because you could have engine on and recharge happening, so show a few green bars, and the underlined portion shows how full the HVB.
And at the same time, engine is running but the traction motor is still helping (I knew not likely at 75), so show some blue bars of power supplied along with whatever grey for engine is used.

I bet you have adaptive cruise control and that it's in stanby mode!

-OR- your mav was in "deep sleep".

Here's something I noticed by chance on my 2025 Lariat. If you notice the engine icon in the center information screen, on the left side, the icon will brighten and dim according to drive status. ICE engine engaged; icon is bright. When running on electric only, the icon is dimmed. Very subtle to notice and not very intuitive but there it is.
I really wish they'd improve the contrast on the motor icon. It's just be a software update. They could make it much darker grey when not engaged.

This is not correct as the power meter can be displayed on the driver screen by toggling it on in the driver screen settings.

How did you get your fuel gauge and engine temp so bright? Mine are all gray
