Thanks for the explanation. I was wondering how that gauge works, and now i know.
It actually provides more detail than the 22-24 power gauge but people gotta complain about something!

Correct.

The photo in my post above displays the power meter permanently on the instrument cluster (driver's screen).

When the battery is green and the meter is below 0% with green bars it is regen

When the power bars are blue (and battery icon blue) it is using electric power

When the power bars are gray it is using ICE power.
Why can't the manual simply state this? It took me forever to figure out what the difference between grey and blue is!

Has anyone put this gauge cluster in the 2025 I hate the damn LCD video game cluster in the 2025 this looks so nice.
I want my gauge cluster to look like your example on your 2024 but have yet to figure out how to configure it on my 2025 Lariat AWD Hybrid

Yeah it should just simply say "electric driving" or "hybrid driving" or "regenerating"

The power gauge is microscopic and the difference between the grey and the blue meter is almost indecipherable...JUST TELL ME WHAT MODE I'M IN!

I know there's a MyView setting that will show this but it makes me turn it on EVERY TIME I turn on the truck

The 2022-2024 gauge does not tell you what mode you're in, nor does it show the split between power sources.

Folks complaining just to complain.

100%

It’s very annoying. The power bar is useless.

Can the instrument cluster on the 2025 Hybrid be configured to show if the vehicle is in battery only or hybrid or regen? There was a round gauge that showed this information on previous models. I saw a video of the 2025 Hybrid and it appeared there was a vertical indicator that showed the power being used??
Yes! You can absolutely do this. To do so, simply put the sub screen on the right to "hybrid coach" I think it's called. It will show you when you're in electric only and draw a box around the electric use. Once you exceed that box, it will switch to hybrid power use which indicates that you're now using the gasoline engine. The box is still visible inside of that hybrid power band which will indicate how much power use you'd have to reduce to end up in electric only mode. If you enable the brake coach, it will take the place of this screen while braking to help you stay within regenerative braking only and will then return to the hybrid coach when you're done braking.

In these two photos, you can respectively see that the truck is using electric only, and hybrid electric/gasoline.

If you have the power bar enabled on the left, it will also show you what relative percentage of electric/gasoline power you're using during acceleration. It is not useless.

I hope that's helpful.

There's literally a key/legend a few pixels to the left of the gauge which clearly explains it. It's got a grey engine icon and a blue battery icon. If you can't figure out what grey and blue represent with that, well, there's only so much explaining a person can do!

The color on the left represents hybrid and the color on the right represents electric....it couldn't be more clear!

It's actually white and blue. So now it's an issue with contrast and not the explanation? Got it. We'll see where the goal posts move to next, eh?

So the 2022-2024 Power gauge does not show the split between electric and ICE power. This one does with a a clear contrast and now that is an issue?

If you're watching your power gauge to see the split between battery and ICE while driving that's an issue.....

I believe it could of been a lot clearer, cleaner and much more simple - Just because you got Technology and Graphics Capabilities doesn't mean you know how to apply it, in my opinion this was designed by some kid fresh out of school with little to no engineering skills who spent most of his time gaming instead of learning…
