I just took delivery of my 2025 Lariat hybrid and can’t seem to locate the Power Flow app on the sync screen…

Is it no longer available?

Yes it is gone, the new E V Coach is on the steering wheel. To get to it use the OK button/switch on the right hand side, toggle the switch up or down to scrool thru trip/Fuel econ/E V coach. It only shows electric, hybrid and charge. It's not as good as the old app was.

No it is not gone.

It is not on by default. You have to enable it for the “left gauge” in your driver screen settings.

That's not really the prior Lariat Power Flow App though, available in the infotainment center.
That's just the Power Meter like they all had.

does it stay on 24/7 or does it require re enabling each time car is on? do you feel its worth even having on? or just a distraction

Stays on once enabled. I don’t find it distracting but also don’t really find it useful for operation. I guess I’d rather have it than not.

thanks, so question.
does the battery like, recharge of ICE operation? like say battery is empty, and then you're just cruising 65mph on highway, does it parasitically recharge the battery so in a bit of time its 100% again? you'll see it increasing from 0 to 100% via steady speed highway in ICE mode

not sure when it actually recharges it

No I don’t believe it does but I may be wrong.

I do like the 10% tick marks though on Power meter - made it easy to stay below the point of ICE start.
Battery recharge section is as big as it needs to be.
And that prior huge wasted space below recharge, nice.

And the EV Coach doesn't use that new Power meter correct, still it's own section on right when enabled?

Unless you are fully using the power from the engine - there is always some level of recharge going back to the HVB if the gearing allows it.
Since the generator motor is controlling the gearing needed, and sending power to HVB, it can vary.

The range BTW is 30 - 70% SOC.

I have log file showing 66 mph, around 70 A charging rate, took 3 seconds to go from 44 to 45% SOC.

(and yes, for anyone reading that 2nd battery charge current for 12V at 55% SOC, below 1 A and only 8 min into drive - stupid charging system).

The escape hybrid on its sync 4 system does have the power flow monitor that show the car and how power is flowing to or from the battery. That is what I think he is asking. The 22 to 24 Lariats hybrids have this display on their sync 3 system but I have not seen it on the 2025 hybrids maybe a sync update needed for it or if someone can figure how to turn it on wit Forscan?
