Love the MPG I'm getting with my 25 AWD hybrid with 4k tow package. This is my normal every day take my kids to school trip! I'm sure as the weather gets even nicer it will go up a little more!

I'd love to get up to that. Since we got ours Feb 3rd, we have racked up about 1,700 miles and only seen up to 35.0 from mixed town & freeway driving.
How many miles do you have? Are you more town driving?

Now that the temperatures are starting to consistently be in the 40s & 50s, I've been averaging around the low/mid-40s, though my lifetime average over about 1400 miles is still 33.6 mpg since the first 1000 miles or so were temps between single digits & 20s.

I am at 1,785 miles and on board computer is showing 33.4 mpg overall but hand calculated 30.9mpg.

My current tank (90 miles) is showing 42.4mpg which I know is high so it's probably close to 38-39mpg but I have noticed markedly better efficiency with temps above 50 degrees.

Excited for summer time.

We bought the Maverick specifically for local trips as I have a parent residing in assisted living and we travel there locally alot. Have 8,500 miles on the odometer and our overall average, since new, is 42.7 miles per gallon. I'm sure if we added many more freeway miles it'd drop quite a bit, but for now, that isn't in the cards. (2023 Lariat Hybrid).

I generally configure my average by fuel consumed into mileage and not by the display. 42-45 mpg

I'm getting pretty good mileage too on my FWD Hybrid. Daily commute to dropp off kid at school and then to work in SoCal traffic, about half streets and half highways at an average hwy speed of 60 mph.

yes I have same vehicle, you will notice if you on highway speeds 70 MPH for long trips it won,t be as good. If Ford used the same technology as Toyota uses in there hybrids It would be much better.

Ford has the same technology as Toyota hybrids. Lithium batteries and eCVTs that are basically the same design. Toyotas also suffer from degraded fuel efficiency when driving above 60/65 on highways. I know because my previous car was a Corolla Hybrid. This effect is more pronounced on the Maverick because it is basically shaped like a brick where a Corolla or Prius are very aerodynamic. I drive the Maverick the same way I drove the Corolla and I am getting 10 mpgs less on the Maverick, I think that's a good compromise.

I've had mine for about a month or so and have just over 1,500 miles on it. Have been averaging about 42.5 mph overall. No question that highway milage is less but I am still happy with the 34-36 mph I am getting. In town is great usually in the 45 to 50 range.

They actually do use the same technology.
