I really like my 24 lariat. 1 year and 26k miles free of problems. Once I move to Idaho I will be trading it and my 4x4 1500 chevrolet gas for a Slate gray metallic 3.0 diesel 1500 chevy 4x4 trail boss.
Damn good looking and driving truck. My buddy has a 24.

Once again, these are not new recalls. Please do your research!
Some folks would rather Whine about crap rather than take it to their dealer for an oil change and a software update, which costs them nothing. I don't get it. Then go on and trash the manufacturer for WHAT. Go buy a computer, leave it outside in all kinds of weather in your driveway and see how many times you'll be taking it to your computer guy. We demand all these computer based accessories be added to our vehicles and complain when things go off the tracks, and yet we will update our computer every couple weeks without a second thought.

I think the OP got exactly what he was looking for : something related to Newton's Third Law.

I kind of agree with you, except that I don't really want any computer-based accessories at all. (I will grant that poor rear visibility out of current vehicles makes a rearview camera a necessity, though.)

Recalls mean that they are fixing problems. Not sure why you are whining so loud. Have any of the problems with those recalls affected your driving enjoyment? Some people seem to enjoy complaining.

Unfortunately, all manufacturers have gone the computer route, and we are having to live with these kinds of problems. There are some decent after-market back up cameras available now that can certainly help that situation, but yea I get it,

Same here, every day. Other than that, I love this truck.
If it wasn't for all the members of this forum complaining about what they though these trucks either need to be changed, fixed, or they love about them, what else would we do every day besides adding our two cents replys to their questions? I enjoy reading, and sometime answering a problem that may help another member. We on this forum, have more knowledge about the Maverick, then any dealer who sells them!

I am waiting a while to see if there are more recalls so they can be done all at one trip to the dealer 20 miles away. My truck has never let me down in 30k miles so far.

I got a CSP 24NO8 today. Divers side seat buckle replacement!
Me too. So just a 2nd "as needed" replacement CSP. Both the CSP's, you will know if you need them done cuz you'll be the one with the issue. Not needed here and NFA ATTM.

3 years in and I still love my Maverick. As for the recalls, why do people make such a big deal about them? For the most part, they are MINOR and fixable via simple software updates.

What's the difference between Maverick recalls fixed via software patches the endless Windows 10 software patches? Or the constant patches for smartphones? That's today's technology. Now obviously issues in a motor vehicle that leaves one stranded can be far more serious issues. But software updates to fix intermittent minor issues IMO no big deal at all.

I had 4 of the Maverick recalls performed in my Driveway, no inconvenience at all.
WTF is wrong with people like you bringing in logic and ignoring drama?
