Same deal with my 25 Lariat, trying to figure out if it's a bug or something I am doing wrong. :headbang:

Does your screen button cycle through an "Auto" setting, I've seen that on some review videos. I do not have that and I haven't seen that on anything but Lincolns with that screen (because cooled seats too) so I'm curious if it's a software hickup from that. My next guess is to put the seat itself to Auto and see. But otherwise yes something is not configured right this sounds very odd

I too have a 25 Lariat having the same issue with the heated seats and wheel not turning on with the app or remote. I checked and all the settings in the remote start menu and they’re correctly set. Has anyone else with this issue reached out to their dealer and come up with a solution?
Only way, I could get them to work was first set it in the Ford Pass app to set the defaults, the app initiates as off and seems to be using what that is set to when doing it using the remote on the FOB

The only problem is I’m using the app on an iPhone and it doesn’t show the settings for the seats, steering wheel or climate control. Those settings only seem to appear when using the app on an android phone. It seems people using an android phone are having as many issues. I’m thinking of borrowing an android phone from a friend, loading my vehicle in the FordPass app on that phone, set remote start up on that phone and see if it carries over to my vehicle.

Try turning on your truck with the Ford Pass App and then you should see the climate controls as an option. Mine did and I too am using an iPhone (12)

They appear after the vehicle has started.

Finally got the remote start settings to appear within the app once the vehicle was started. Even though seats, wheel and climate control functions were set to auto within the vehicle remote start menu, they wouldn’t come on when using remote start on the fob and were not set to ON within the app. I set the functions for the seats, wheel and climate control to ON within the app and when I started the vehicle with the app this morning the seats, wheel and climate control all came on. Tomorrow morning I’ll try starting with the fob and see if everything turns on

Remote start (via the key fob) is not Ford Pass App remote start which is controlled via...the Ford Pass App.

Pretty sure that was explained a few times in the last 4+ pages. Don't expect the key fob to function like the Ford Pass and vice versa.

Since the option to turn on the climate control, heated seats and steering wheel are part of the menu options within the truck controls I would think starting the vehicle with the fob should turn those features on if they are selected

Final observation. I found the option to turn on the heated seats and steering wheel within the Fordpass app (after starting the vehicle with the app) on my iPhone. I turned the seat and wheel settings on within the app and the next time I started the vehicle they worked when starting the vehicle with the app. This morning I started the vehicle with the fob and the seats and wheel both turned on. I’m guessing the app and vehicle settings need to sync up for everything to work. I’m just happy it all worked out

Keep an eye on it. Once I got to this point, it was not consistent. While they were On while it was running in remote start, wheel is always warm, they are not once I get in push push the start button.
One time I get seat @ 2 with wheel On, then next time seat @ 3 with wheel Off. It keeps alternating between these two things.

Once you get it working, they then seem to be dependent on what it was set to when you shut off your Maverick. That being said, if you have it one @ 1 when you turn off you truck, it does not start the seats when you turn it on the next time

I was always putting it back to seat @ 3 and wheel On, to make sure it was always the same when truck was turned off.

Anyone else with a 2025 Lariat have the Seat heating and steering wheel heating set to auto for remote start yet it doesn't seem to run. In my 22 auto basically meant if I remote started and it was like 40s and below it ran the seat and steering wheel. On the 25 I have yet to have it start the seats and steering wheel even down to 10 degrees outside with it set to auto. Is anyone else having this issue or found any solution?
I'm having the same issues on my 2025 Lariat
