Been driving in the snow and notice front wheels spin occasionally. Does the rear wheel drive on a hybrid kick in when needed in "normal" mode or only in "slippery" mode?
I noticed that the brake lights will activate when vehicle is in a heavy regeneration and slowing down and not pressing the brake pedal. Has anyone else noticed this? 2025 Lariat hybrid.
I have a jeep Cherokee and a GMC Terrain, both with dual controls. Setting a temperature, both vehicles keep it by either heating or cooling, adjusting fan speed from high to low as needed on startup. My '25 Maverick Lariat seems to be confused as to what to do, much like you describe.
The maximum charging voltage for a 12V lead-acid battery is typically 14.4 to 14.7 volts. This voltage range is often used during the bulk charging phase to quickly bring the battery to a near-full charge. After reaching this voltage, the charging voltage is typically reduced to a lower "float"...
I have a volt gage in the power outlet (cigarette lighter). I see it as high as 15.3 volts, is this what is cooking batteries and causing issues? In the real world 14.3 is highest charge voltage. Remember there is no 12 volt starter so no high current draws to run a battery down quickly.
Had mine 5 months and noticed a chip on passenger side door edge last night - the edge of the door is razor sharp, don't know how they folded metal that sharp.
