I know this has definitely been covered in here, but I’m looking for some RECENT quotes y’all have received for spray in bed liner.

Line-X just quoted me $715 and I nearly spit out my drink. Inflation??

I have the Ford OEM spray-on bed liner it’s very nice and was included on the truck I purchased and I didn’t pay attention to the price since I wasn’t the one who originally ordered it - however those aftermarket color matched spray-on liners look cool so if you decide to get the Line-X consider a color matched one if that appeals to you would be interested if a colored one comes with an up charge

line-x actually has several products now, perhaps they quoted you a premium one? it's usually more like $450-550 in a competitive market.

however, you might see higher pricing when there's either no competition or they have a full schedule and don't really care if you book now or later.

Paid $600 for the base level LineX. Went basic since I was putting a tonneau cover on. They were gonna charge $150 to remove the bed rails, cleats, and D-Rings but I did that myself. The premium UV coat and extra protection layer were gonna be 900.

On February 10 just for the hell-of-it.
I texted Line-X asking for a quote.
The quote was sent back on Feb. 11

Basic Black spray in liner. $565+tax
Or
Color Matched spray in liner. $945+tax
Here you go. Your results may vary.😁

A week after I got my truck I went on Craigslist and found a ford Ranger dibl for $25 . measured twice and cut once with basic jigsaw . cut it to fit to protect the floor surface of the bed . Have had dibl in all my other 4 trucks without any problems . It works for me but not for everyone . It even has the Ford logo on it centered on back wall of bed .

Seems like a good way to let water under the bed liner and eventually cause rust, but it ain't my truck, so you do you.

This isn't good advice, though. I don't want others to see this and think it is a good idea. Unless they like rust, of course.

This is exactly why I want a spray in. I live where it snows so the elements are a concern.

I've had drop in, spray in, mats and nothing. By far spray in, and it was Line X was or is my favorite. Local store the lady that ran it said she would honor the warranty even though I bought my last truck used with Line X in it.
That sold me and it was tuff as hell.
Several Mavericks had the Ford spray in liner on the lot from the dealer I used. Looked like Line X, guess we'll see if it's as tuff or they warranty it.
When I ordered mine I added it for $450. It's a 2025. And I think the dealers offer it.
Matter of fact I just remembered my sales man told me they use the Line X store when people request spray in liners.

$550 at the LineX shop in North Charleston, SC. That's for the basic, because I keep my truck in the garage and have a tonneau cover on my new '25 XLT hybrid, and that's with a 10% military discount. They did a great job and it only took 2 hours.

Honestly, don't bother comparing local quotes to someone halfway across the continent, it'll just piss you off.

I paid $565Cad/$398USD for mine and I'm in a city that's considered to be pretty expensive.

👍 Pretty darn close comparison to the quote of $565 I posted from Las Vegas Nevada. All the way across the country from you.

Glen, do you know if you get the color matched spray in liner, is the color mixed all the way thru the liner material, or is it a black spray liner then sprayed the paint color over that after?

If you scracthed the color matched liner, would you have a black scratch or would the scratch still be the color of your paint?

Just curious? I can get kinda scratchy so it might make a difference if I were purchasing one.

Thanks,

Thanks,
As far as your question about scratching.
Line-X is the best source for the correct answer.
I have Ford Black spray in liner with logo.
It was just for my own curiosity, that
I contacted Line-X for a quote on both base black and color matched.

Good Luck
