I have asked for confirmation in other threads.
Ref: @skadizzle : cv-joints-failing-parts-on-indefinite-backorder

For a 2023 Hybrid Maverick (2.5L FWD): As of January 2025, what are the latest part numbers for the "new and improved" axles?
The "S" numbers supersede the "N" numbers - or so i thought.

If I use "parts.ford.com" with: SZ6Z-3B436-E and SZ6Z-3B437-C,
I get the message the part does not match my vehicle.

I am logged in to my "parts.ford.com" account and my VIN is showing and data shows 2023 Hybrid Mav as expected.

Check this post.
SZ should work, just has to be the 22-24 specific one not the 25 one.

Appreciate the response.
As it relates to 22-24 Hybrid Mavs, @KevCuRaoi mentions same part numbers I show in my OP.

So these are different from the updated parts for the 22-24 Maverick hybrids (SZ6Z-3B436-E & SZ6Z-3B437-C)

Those part numbers also match @skadizzle paperwork from that repair/replace

I recently had the same part # CV axles put in my truck.

How was the installation?

Could you tell much of a difference between old and new assemblies?

About how much fluid loss was there from the eCVT?

I'm wondering if, after axle replacement, might be a good time to drain and fill it?

My apologies....
Somehow i missed your post.
I have not done the install yet, but you bring up a good point that
I have not seen mentioned.

I am not sure of fluid loss during the change (will be my first time).
The one Youtube video i've seen on replacing the Maverick's CVs made
no mention of fluid loss. (He was doing a swap to Tremor CVs).

I plan to have fluid on hand when I do the remove/replace.
I also plan to order/have the official service manual.

Don't know how many miles you've driven with bad axles, but it might be wise to check for play in your control arm bushings, since the "axle shakes" can make them wear out quickly... (Tires also)

"N" for 22-24 Hybrid was the old part number.
New part number starts with "S".
Well that sucks. I had thought about asking for the new version, but I didn't want do get into a hassle and or a delay.

Odd they put on the older ones.
How many miles/years you got left on the power train warranty?
Hopefully if they fail it's within those limits and it gets fixed under warranty again - with newest parts.
