So after placing an order for my '25 Lariat Hybrid AWD on the first day the order banks opened up and waiting and waiting and waiting, it was built on 11/7/24, I finally picked it up today. That's my old Carbonized Gray Lariat Tremor in the background. My first impression was photos just can't do justice to Space White, it looks even better in person. I don't know if the front end is just growing on me or what but I'm actually starting to like it, has a really clean look and I like the new grille. The Sync 4 and large screen is an improvement over the old Sync 3 and leaps and bounds over my old XLT Sync 2 or whatever the heck it was. I was a little nervous trading in the Tremor because I liked it so much, never gave me any problems and really appreciated it's better suspension and advanced AWD system. 710-oil-614 also traded his Tremor for a Lariat Hybrid AWD and received his a few weeks ago, he calmed my trepidation telling me how much he liked his and the hit with the ride and suspension wasn't too bad. Speaking as someone that never got any better than 25 mpg on the Tremor seeing 30 mpg on the ride home was really nice and I would agree with 710-oil-614, the ride and handling wasn't bad, not a Tremor but not bad. I also noticed it seemed to be quieter on the road then the '24 Lariat Tremor, not sure if Ford made any improvements or perhaps the tires on the Tremor were a little noiser.
Now I've got to reinstall all the things I took off the Tremor like the bed cover, bed extender, hood props, and tailgate damper.

That looks really nice. I hope you get many miles out of your new ride... and use less gas doing it!

Congratulations on your new Maverick. Yes it looks sharp. Sounds like you are already appreciating the fuel economy. Good thing the front end is growing on you, for that kind of money, you'd better. I don't think it's all that bad, it's different but not bad enough to be a deal breaker. Besides I think you gain LED headlights. It looks great, again congrats on your new truck.

"Tremor Traitor" :p

I kid... Looks great. Still my favorite color of the MY25s, and the only one the silver trim at the bottom of the front end looks good on IMHO.

Enjoy!

I'm sure the tires make a HUGE difference in noise. I drive a convertible to work and semis and pickups can be NOISY! (Jeeps too!)

I was thinking how good the silver trim does look at the bottom.

One other thing I forgot to mention, the shift dial has changed, different texture and has a more clicky feel to it, much improved in my opinion. Feels more like you are changing gears.

Looks awesome!! With every day of salt on my EG and these awesome pictures of Space White I kind of have a little regret.

There are no doubt trade offs with the Tremor I will miss, the ride quality being top of the list.

I also enjoyed the look with slight lift, AT tires, and the revised front fascia. But I really loved the advanced AWD with trail control, 4WD lock, and rear locker.

However at the end of the day the creature comforts of the Lariat (I had XLT tremor), increased payload, increased towing, and smoothness, efficiency, and longevity of the hybrid drivetrain pushed the needle towards the hybrid.

If not a hybrid I likely would have moved into a ranger, pro 4x, or ridgeline trail sport to get more truck for the same mpg as the tremor.

For me the Tremor was really rudunate, all the things that we like about the Tremor, advanced AWD, 4WD lock and better off road chops I already have in my Bronco in spades. Even the crappy MPG which is why the Hybrid is just a better choice for me, now at least I have a vehicle that gets better MPG. But I will miss the Tremor and the unique look as well.

A twin of my 25 Space White Lariat Hybrid. I opted for the BAP and roll up tonneau with spray-in bed liner. I am loving mine!

With the EcoBoosts - I only filled with 93. After 11,600 miles I was getting 23.4mpg (hand calculated) which if you account for the fuel price difference is like getting 18-19mpg filling with 87.

That's full size truck efficiency for a really compromised vehicle. I loved how comfortable the Tremor was with the ride quality but it had no underbody protection, plastic bumpers, no low gearing. Compromised payload and towing.

There is about 3-4x a year where I would have benefitted from the Advanced AWD system trying to get to my property in the mountains in the winter and even that wouldn't guarantee I make it just that I make it further than my AWD Hybrid will ha!

So I knew that I wasn't going to keep the Tremor. I was either going to go up to a more capable vehicle with the same fuel economy or I was going to go to the AWD Hybrid which is more capable as a truck and way better efficiency.

Very happy with my choice.

All Mavericks have LED headlights.
*Projector* LED headlights

Also the LED piping for the DRLs in the signature light.

EDIT: Which I must say the projector style LEDs on my Lariat can't hold a match to the brightness of a Honda Civic EX projector style LED. Massive difference - something Honda does so well and Ford not so much.
