Can the instrument cluster on the 2025 Hybrid be configured to show if the vehicle is in battery only or hybrid or regen? There was a round gauge that showed this information on previous models. I saw a video of the 2025 Hybrid and it appeared there was a vertical indicator that showed the power being used??

Nope. It was a poor oversight in the new model. A simple thing which was left out. There are 2 ways to tell which mode you’re in:

1) The Fuel Efficiency window under MyView tab. When you’re in hybrid, it shows a vertical blue bar with your mpg. When it’s in electric only, the blue bar will disappear.

2) On infotainment screen in center console, you can have the far right section show what mode you’re in, along with the bar showing mpg.

On mine, I hit the 3 bar button on the wheel, then hit my view, if it's not programmed, hit configure view and go through the list you want turned on. Then from the my view list, toggle down to ev coach and it puts a Guage on the right side of the center screen. Or whichever one you checked on from configure view. Not as good as my 22 model but it shows what's going on.

This is not correct as the power meter can be displayed on the driver screen by toggling it on in the driver screen settings.

Correct.

The photo in my post above displays the power meter permanently on the instrument cluster (driver's screen).

When the battery is green and the meter is below 0% with green bars it is regen

When the power bars are blue (and battery icon blue) it is using electric power

When the power bars are gray it is using ICE power.

Ahhh…I stand corrected.

But it’s hard to see the difference between blue and gray bars especially at low power. Still wish they had a distinct hybrid vs electric icon on the cluster.

They didn't have one on the 2022-2024 power meter so it is an improvement over simply seeing the 0-100%. The 2025 meter shows more detail than the 2022-24 meter. You can see what power (blue v. gray) is being used and what the breakdown is.

If you're pining for the little "All electric" tag then you can also toggle on the EV coach which will show you that.

Here's something I noticed by chance on my 2025 Lariat. If you notice the engine icon in the center information screen, on the left side, the icon will brighten and dim according to drive status. ICE engine engaged; icon is bright. When running on electric only, the icon is dimmed. Very subtle to notice and not very intuitive but there it is.

I just use the display on the infotainment screen. I have no use for the nav, so I just swipe up once and it gives me the real-time MPG readout. It will switch to say 'Electric Driving' instead of the MPG bar when going all electric.

Thanks for the explanation. I was wondering how that gauge works, and now i know.
