Again, watch the peso to dollar exchange rate, barely moving more that 1% since the election. Even yesterday's drop triggered a steeper temporary fall in the DOW, (2%) than it did the peso (1%). Both are better today, with the peso actually up.

I think the price of the Mavericks will be fine...

It looks like a deal is in place with Mexico!! Mexico has agreed to send troops to their border to help curb the fentanyl. Mr. 47 says they have one month reprieve. This is great news all the way around.

Looks like the tariff got the 10k troops so was no longer needed this month. I noticed that 607 ft altitude of DFW Airport was below sea level and in the Gulf of Mexico before the Rocky mountains eroded 12,000+ feet to its current height. The gulf is currently at the deepest about 9000 feet which is about 1/10th of it's original depth.

Canada doesn't really sell crude as crude. The oil products that we export to america are from the tar sands and contain the "heavy" parts of the product. American fracking produces the "light" parts of the product. The two are combined to make a balanced product that can be fully used by the american petrochemical industry.

Basically, the US needs the Canadian petro product to combine theirs with in order to make it worth more money.

Imposing tariffs on Canadian petro products will not only drive up the cost for americans, it will make american products worth less if you import less of what you need from Canada.

This whole thing is remarkably stupid and anyone supporting it is either ignorant or shorting the market. It's stupid and shameful all around.

I am in the same boat except I sold my 22 Maverick in Nov. Agree with you about not paying more.
Guess I better look for plan B or plan C just in case.

This usually results in my Maverick being searched 2 or more times in the 8 hour drive between my homes in Green Valley AZ and Álamos Sonora MEX. Oh well, it's necessary. Cartels are too heavily armed here.

Attending a funeral here stateside on the East Coast. Fly back to Arizona on Wednesday. We'll see how the drive down back to Álamos goes on Thursday.
