"Raw Aluminum " OK. But crude aluminum is sourced from bauxite ore. And that does not come from Canada. Maybe other locations will be developed to process the ore into raw metal. Who knows but why is Canada unique here in processing ore into useable metal form ?
There are only 3 functioning bauxite mine in the US. 90% of the raw bauxite is imported. So get ready for the cost of raw aluminum to go up, and any product made with it.

Is every forum member required to start a topic on tariffs?
I'm scheduled for mine on Sunday at 2:00 CST... unless you wanted to swap?

The US aluminum industry produces most of the metallic Aluminum used in this country. The US or Canada mine none of the bauxite used to make the metallic aluminum. High quality bauxite comes from equatorial regions. Metallic aluminum production requires massive amounts of electricity So aluminum production is concentrated in areas where lower cost plentiful electricity is available. Canadas aluminum production is mostly in British Columbia and Quebec because those areas have hydroelectric power available. The top five suppliers of aluminum to the US are Canada, China, Mexico, United Arab Emirates, India. I personally would prefer to buy from our neighbors Canada or Mexico.

The auto industry traffic across the bridge to Canada (Windsor parts plants) in Detroit is "just in time". Whole USA manufacturing plants will stop if they can't figure it out. And that's assuming Canada doesn't impose retaliatory tariffs. There was a ?fire? problem up there not too long ago, and I think I read that the US plant stops in 7 hours if the Windsor plant shuts down.

Grab your popcorn, boys and girls. You can't do anything now except watch. I'm an optimist at heart, so I like to think it'll all get worked out inside of a week. Bluff, counter bluff, posturing, and then saner heads prevail (we all go down together).

I hit one with a Passat once going about 7mph. That damn Rogue crumbled and the Passat had just a few hundred in repairs.
Her cousin got a kicks, she went out and bought a rogue like week later, it was a step up from her Chevy sonic but I actually liked it, and I paid 6k for it was paid off

now she owes like 30k overpaid hard.
I just don’t love riding around in it, and I don’t think Maverick had such abrupt engine on and off like the rogue

everytime we stop, I legit feel it on and off on and off. Maverick didn’t feel like that when I test drove. Am I wrong?
