I'm thinking Ford should have held back announcing, promoting, and taking orders until they could actually start selling and delivering vehicles. For people who grew up going to a car lot and purchasing a vehicle that same day if they wanted this new sales model of ordering, and waiting...waiting...waiting doesn't sit well.

My truck was delivered in less than 2 weeks from the plant to Granger! If they are truly starting to ship it won't be long...

Ordering a brand new model, after a global pandemic, while still trying to secure parts, is not easy. That said, ordering a vehicle is much different than ordering a pair of shoes with your Amazon Prime account. If you want to wait un til dealers get them on lots, you have to wait anyway, so what's the difference?

That seemed to be the case for those of you with early build dates but I don't think it's the case anymore. I haven't seen any other Granger orders take delivery since. If so, maybe they just haven't posted here. Mine shipped on 10/16 with an original ETA of 11/5. The tracker is now showing a 12/7 ETA but I have yet to recieve an email from Ford on the new date so I would not be surprised to see it change again. 12/7 delivery would put my transit time at 7.5 weeks.

Let me double check this. They both show "in-transit" in our locator system, but when we pull up WBDO it states "returned from Body Vendor" as the status. So doesn't look like they are in route yet.
