For the 2025 models…

Is there a way to keep your preferred My View window open in the instrument cluster even after you’ve turned truck off and restarted the vehicle? I don’t like having to bring up the “this trip” or “EV coach” every time I start the vehicle. The infotainment screen seems to save your last used setup. So it seems like the instrument cluster behind wheel should be able to do the same. My previous vehicles have all had this feature. Anybody know?

I haven't figured this out either. Feels kinda pointless to call it my view then not default to it. I still don't like that I have to press one button to see any info other than a speedo.

Sounds like a candidate for Forscan.

Agreed. I noticed that too. Would love for it to come up by default.

They could easily fix this issue with a software update. I heard on another Ford F150 forum that the same thing happened—there was a software update shortly after the release of new model. I guess people were complaining.

I'm hoping they fix this with an update. I agree that it is pointless to offer it and then make you jump through hoops to access it everytime you drive the truck.

If Ford applies a software fix for this, I hope they take the opportunity to retain the last 'drive mode' instead of resetting every time the truck is started.

I won't hold my breath because users have complained about that since the truck first came out.

I believe the current one button press is required by the epa. The vehicle must default to the mode it's tested in so that standards are consistent with end users. To create an exaggerated example, lets say eco mode got 10mpg better than normal mode, the epa couldn't count that eco mode unless it was the default the vehicle turns on to.

my Bronco with sync4 will prompt you to hit OK to resume last drive mode, but it is not on the driver's panel for very long at all - maybe 5 seconds ? - and it's easy to miss, then it loads normal drive mode. doesn't the MY25 Maverick do this same thing?

___

however, in regards to the issue mentioned in the first post, it does NOT do that. any screen picked in MyView does stay there until you change it. that seems like a bug for a MY25 Maverick to not stay on the last screen used in MyView.

Mine certainly does. I agree that it's a pretty quick window though doesn't seem to stick around nearly as long as the damn seatbelt reminder.

So far I have seen that prompt to stay in eco mode only once and it flashed by so fast that I missed it- That misses the point anyway because it still would require you to 'do something every time' - now if it flashed by asking if you want to return to normal or some other mode and stayed in eco if you don't do anything-that would work!

Yea I get the justification for keeping drive mode resetting to normal. I’m just talking about keeping the MyView always on the one you last had showing.

if you remote start, that prompt might not be shown at all. that's what it seems like on my Bronco at least. it's in normal mode almost all the time, but when we had snow on the ground 3 weeks straight, my wife did use slippery mode the whole time and it is annoying if you miss it and have to re-select.

btw delete your other post. there is no politics allowed in this forum, which is a very good thing, and they're doing a little bit of badly-needed crackdown so just ... don't.
