I would say absolutely rode better just soaks up the bumps. It’s not that the Lariat is bad at all the Tremor just is really compliant on road.

I don’t have any issues with the Lariat ride but the Tremor is definitely a cushier ride.
Good to hear. I plan on swapping to 17's on the Lariat anyway so that will help with a smoother ride.

Lots of good info. Do you have any regrets or was this a worthwhile upgrade?
No regrets until the 2028 Tremor Hybrid gets dropped :cwl:

No honestly it was a great upgrade for me. As much as I loved the Tremor I wasn’t going to benefit from the increased off road capability as much as I would the efficiency, 4k tow, and increased payload.

Sync 4, the screens, and the 360 cameras really change the entire feel of the Maverick to me. While materials do largely feel the same I’ve noticed a few small things that are improved on the build quality.

- Dial shifter has a bit more detent/click to it but still spins freely. The dial shifter on the mach E doesn’t spin freely so not sure why Ford can’t figure that out. But the Mavericks feels better than the machE.

- The door closes with a different sound. I can’t explain it but it’s not the same.

- Insulation (at least for Lariat) filling the entire area in front of the doors between engine bay.

Now that I know that the 25's come with extra insulation for the doors, I see a market for maybe @MABETT to make an aftermarket solution for the 22-24 folks!

2025 Lariats (and possibly other models) have improved insulation between the engine bay and front doors.

It now extends from top of door to bottom. Fairly flimsy but much improved over what was there.

Congratulations on your new Lariat and I hope you enjoy it in good health!

A comment on the insulation: In November I bought the insulators from Ford because they were not present on my '24 XLT EB AWD. I got the part numbers from a search on this forum. The insulators that arrived were already this long - top of fender to bottom of fender, so I simply wanted to notate that they were already this tall/long. From the portions I can see here, your parts look exactly the same.

So far MPG has been disappointing but it is break in and cold here in Ohio. Only 125 miles and about half highway but I’m only averaging 28.2mpg.

Today I really babied it and was able to return 56.2mpg! Looking forward to improved efficiency and getting some big time numbers!

Some folks were saying the power meter is not available and that’s not true. It’s just buried and not on by default. Once selected it stays on.

Where do you turn it on?

In the driver info screen menu. I'll have to play around today and find where it is "buried" it's really not that buried but it wasn't on by default in my Maverick (at least).

Two questions: How do you feel about trading one of the best Maverick colors (Avalanche)? How does the B&O sound compared to the stock XLT audio system? I have yet to be in a Maverick with B&O. One day, I want to compare the audio quality of the B&O against the standard stock as well as my personal speaker upgrades.

Avalanche Gray was indeed awesome but I love Eruption Green and I had it on a Bronco previously. Although it looks awful with the salt spray here in Ohio right now!

The B&O is head and shoulders above the standard XLT. I believe the 2025s have a new amp so it may have slightly better sound quality than 22-24s but I can't compare as I never heard a B&O in 22-24.

I think the XLT base speakers are about as awful as they come. The B&O doesn't do the highs and mids that well but I was surprised at the "surround" or spatial digital audio from Spotify even if it falls well short of the Model 3 LR system I had before the Tremor.

Overall - B&O is plenty enough for me.
